Run! That was the only thing that was going through Scarlett's mind. She knew that she can never go back.
Scarlett was a beautiful little girl that had rose gold hair and light brown eyes. She wanted to make the world a better place. One issue with her dream was her parents. Her parents didn't like her. Her parents would abuse her and made sure she went to bed and woke up in the morning she would be in pain. Scarlett loved to wear dresses every day. When she went to school, everybody could see her scars. So, she got the nickname Scar. At school, she would sit alone and ask her teachers to have her seat in the back of the class. Then Scarlett would go home and get yelled at and hit. She wanted it to end. One day she got home from school and she found her parents drunk. Her parents saw her walk in and yelled at her.
" Why do you dress like that, see you will never get a BOYFRIEND!"- Parents
" I am never going to have a boyfriend I am GAY!"-Scarlett
Before Scarlett had even enough time to blink she was slapped across the face. Her nose was bleeding, face swelling and it was stinging. She went running into her room crying in pain. She packed a small bags of things she needed and wanted to keep with her. It was getting late so she thought she would leave in the morning, but she didn't want to be with her parents anymore. So, she snuck downstairs and found her parents asleep on the couch. Scarlett opens the front door but stopped when someone grabbed her back.
" Where do you think you are going thing"- Mom
" None of your business let go of me"- Scarlett
Scarlett pulled out of the grip and ran. While she was running she was wondering where would she go. When she finally felt like she was far enough from home she went into an alley to rest. As she was finding stuff to build a shelter for the night she felt someone's presence.
" What is a little girl doing all by herself in a dark alley this late at night."- A man in the alley
" Just leave me alone"- Scarlett
" Come here little girl I might have something you might like."- Man from alley
Before Scarlett could move or say anything she was shoved up against the wall and was ravished. Scarlett was rapped at the age of ten. Scarlett had been able to free herself from his grasp and run. She ran to the nearest park and climbed into the slide and cried. Soon she had fallen asleep.
When she had awoken she cried and cried. She had looked at her body and noticed the blood all over. She knew if she was seen in public people would question maybe even call the cops. Scar crawled out of the slide and started walking in the shadows so nobody would pay attention to her. She had gone to the nearest public bathroom to change and get washed up. Then she walked to a public telephone and called the nearest airport and got a flight. Even though Scar was 10 she was very smart for her age, so she has her parents credit card. She booked a flight to New York and it left later that night. Scar was doing her finishing looks at California before she left. As she headed for the airport she knew that there was no going back and she needed to change. Scar knew that she couldn't let people control and that being at the bottom of the food chain wasn't acceptable anymore. Now on the plane, she was wondering how was this going to work. She was a rapped 10 years old who is smarter than a lot of people and has no parents and nowhere to live. When the plane landed she had walked into the nearest hotel and got a room for two days. Then went to the nearest store and bought some clothes (mostly dresses), computer and an alarm clock. Scar went walking around to see where the next school will she enroll into. All the schools in the area she was at were pre-k through 12 grade. Luckily it was a Saturday night, so she would call around to see what sparked her interest. She walked back to her room and got on her computer. She went looking around to see what was it like in New York. As she was looking she found the perfect school. She had sent an email to the principle to set up meeting on Sunday. Then she set her alarm, took a shower and went to bed.
