♢ Prologue ♢

She smiled at him and he swore that even the sun couldn't shine so bright. This was the moment he was waiting for and he wasn't going to waste another second.

A scream echoed from the town square accompanied by the loud splash of water hitting the pavement.

"Elijah!"

The once shining sun had dimmered down and now stood before all, drenched and livid.

Everyone who bore witness to such an event had to stifle smiles so as not to be at the end of her wrath. Elijah just grinned, his smile resembling the chesire cat with the amount of wicked intent behind it all.

That smile soon fell as fast as the flash could run when he saw the tears that were soon to run down her face. 

He freaked out.

"Tiana? Are you okay? I'm so sorry baby blue. It was just a joke" he pleaded in a desperate attempt to stop her tears. Trying to make it all better his strong arms grasped the girls waist and pulled her into his chest.

"Please forgive me Tiana"

Pushing against the boys chest, the blue eyed beauty just looked up at him as though he was the dumbest person alive.

"My contact just slipped out because of the water dummy"
