"And if you mulitply that by 12, it will become a- Mr. Kogane!" The boy looked up from what he was doing locked eyes with the teacher's deathly stare. "Mr. Keith Kogane. What are you doing?" Keith was still processing the situation, but the teacher didn't want to hear any excuse. "You are never paying attention to my class. All you do is mindlessly draw and disrespect me. Put that rubbish on my desk and pay attention." He could hear a few snickers and mocking remarks from the class, but that didn't really stop him from not obeying the teacher's commands. Keith walked up to the front of the class and gently placed the small piece of notebook paper on the desk. "So much for an Art graduate.." Keith ignored this comment ( and the many others ) and proceeded to his desk in the back of the class. "Now, if there is no one else that needs to interrupt my class with useless excuses, shall we continue?" She said while putting emphasis on the word 'else' and giving another deathly stare to the said Art graduate.

"Alright. Class session is over. Don't forget the exam for tomorrow. Write it down if you have to. I do not like repeating myself." 'Grumpy-old hag..' Keith muttered to himself while he grabbed his backpack and headed out the classroom. "Mr. Kogane, I heard that!"

"Uhm, excuse me, Keith Kogane?"

A rather familiar voice said which made our little heroine turn his head to its direction. "Keith Kogane, right? Art graduate, the short, emo guy who always doodles during class?" Keith waned to digress, but he was right in everything that he said. So, he replied to the Latino-looking boy. "Yeah, why?" "I'm Lance McClain. Photography graduate. I was in dorm number 16, but I transferred." Keith didn't really want to deal with him anymore, so he just replied with a very blunt 'Oh, alright' and walked away. "W-wait! Don't you get it? I'm your new roommate! Your former one was suspended, so I'm the replacement!" The mullet-head was stopped dead in his tracks. "Really?" "Mhm. I was lucky to be moved with someone I actually knew. Remember me from Highschool?"

"Lance?"

"Yours truly!"

"Oh my god."

"Is that meant to be a compliment?"

"No. I remember you being an annoying little shit during class."

"Oh cmon. You were the most emo asshole I've ever met."

"Hm. Touché."

"Well, you gotta deal with me for a while 'nother year. That means no more Panic! At The Disco blasting on the Bluetooth." Keith was obviously offended by that. "Please. As if you don't sing and dance to Beyoncé all the time." He thought he got him when he said that, but he just got a very sly remark. "What can I say? My hips don't lie." The Latino grinned while walking alongside Keith. "Care to show me around the dorm?" "Every design for each room is different, so, how about it?" Keith was hesitant about the idea, but he agreed to it just to get it over with. Lance was happily humming a Beyoncé song, Keith assumed. He took out his earphones and played his own preference of music, and avoided all sort of interaction or contact with his new dorm-mate.

"Alright, here we are." Keith scanned the room and looked for any new bags or luggages. "Where are your stuff?" "I placed them in the other room down the hall. I was in a hurry, so I didn't really settle in that much."

The dorm looked very much like a home of an artist. According to Lance's perspective. There were some paintbrushes laid on the small coffee table and old rags full of paint splatter carefully placed on the dining table near the small, but convenient kitchen. It was sort of messy, but Keith does have style. Lance could tell by how symmetrical the place looked, that Keith was a little bit of a perfectionist at heart. The mats were placed right at the center of the of the medium-sized living room, sofas and bean bags placed in a way that was very pleasant to the eyes; rounded around the mat leaving no uneven space between the objects. The kitchen tools placed evenly in each drawer and glasses and plates stacked and lined up perfectly in every cabinet.

"Are you planning on fixing your stuff, or what?" Keith mentioned while removing his backpack. "Oh, right." Lance scurried his way to his room and began opening one of his duffel bags. He placed a small framed picture on the nightstand near the bed, then Keith walked in. "I don't really communicate with new people, but I would consider this as an exception." Keith, with hands still in his jacket-pockets, looked at the framed picture. "Who are those?" Lance lifted his head from rummaging through his bag and looked at the boy who was standing at the door entrance. "My family. All the way back at my hometown." "Why you ask?"

"Nothing. Can you cook?"

"Duh. I have Latino blood in me. Everyone in my family knows how to cook." "I'm assuming you ran out of ingredients for food, we can go grocery shopping tomorrow." Lance went back to arranging his things while Keith went back to his room. "And Lance," Keith said before closing his door "Don't watch anime without earphones again just like before in Highschool." And slowly slammed the door shut.

Keith used to live in Lance's apartment for a month a few years ago until he found a new apartment near the school. So, he already knew what it felt like living with Lance McClain. They had arguements here and there, but they were always there for each other.

I think so.

Actually, they both really hated eachother. But, in a competitive way. Keith and Lance were both at the top of their classes in the Arts. Specifically in either Photography and Art. In the end, they both went their separate ways and took different majors. And they never saw each other until College. With a playlist of Panic! At The Disco still playing on his earphones, he closed his eyes and took a little nap to see if this hellish reality of staying with Lance is all just a dream.

Meanwhile, back at Lance's room: "Goddammit. I can't believe I'm staying with this guy." The tall boy sneered as he placed the last piece of clothing in his bag to the medium-sized cabinet.

These two seriously need to get along somehow. Even after they left space, they still remain as rivals. Now, that's some commitment right there.
