'Selena Violet Winter! Time to get up!' Mom calls from downstairs. 'You are going to be late for the first day of school!'
What? Late? School? It's Sunday. The day of rest, the last day summer vacation. Wasn't it? Wait, Wait, Wait, wake up Selena, today is Monday, the first day of high-school!
'Mom, what time is it?' I called, irritated. I'm not a morning person.
'Time for you to get dressed and go to your new school, honey!' Mom answers in a sweet but commanding voice.
'Okay!' I call back. I got out of my bed, got dressed in my school uniform. Combing through my thick hair slowly......
'Selena, are you done yet?'
'Cassi Evergreen. Is that you my friend?' I said in a half asking tone. 'I missed you so much!'
'Hurry up, and shut up also.' Cass said impatiently.
'Patience is very important...' I said as I ran downstairs.
'You told me that since kindergarten!' She snapped back. I love it when she gets angry.
I ended up not eating anything because I was pretty close to being late.
'Bye mom~!' I said, putting my shoes on.
'Bye, honey! Love you~!' Mom calls again.
'Love you more!' I rushed out.
Please don't call me HONEY again, it's so... Anyway, I love her.
'Boy, you took forever. If I didn't promise to wait for you, I would never wait for....for you!' Cass said, panting as she's running behind me. 'Run slower! Come on!'
'You are so slow! You read books all day, that's why you are so thin and weak.' I said teasingly. 'By the way, where's Max?'
'He already went with his two best friends. That's what he said this morning... I guess...' Cass said, blushing a little. 'Hey! No matter how you like to stay home all day listening to music and writing stories, you should at least know what your two best friends are doing?'
'Yah, yah. My two best friends since babies~!' I said. 'One of them is Cass' future husband.'
I hurried and turned on the song "Dear Future husband".
'You! I am gonna get you!' She screamed and started to chase me.
'Come and get me~!' I shouted and ran.
I love to tease her!!!
Why didn't I just drive? I'm so stupid.
We reached school, and choose our seats. Apparently, I'm sitting with Cass. We were joking and chatting, without noticing that there was another girl with long silky black hair listening to our talk and laughing with us. Seriously, who is she? I gave Cass the 'do you know her' look, and she shook her head.
'Hello, nice to meet you, my name is Diana Sakura Iwasa.' She picks a seat in front of me, throws her bag beside her.
A Japanese huh? Sure doesn't act like one. She looks like a girl that's been spoiled at home and treated like a princess. Her makeups? Don't even ask me. Scaaaaary.
'Do you know where the popular girls are?' Sakura asked as she played with her hair.
I stared at her like an idiot and so did Cass.
'You guys are so cute...' Sakura said, giggling. 'Can I be your friend?'

.
The girl kept chatting and talking us. Well, I've never heard anyone talk so much before.
Then the bell started to ring, and I put my phone away for the first time since...
'I don't want to leave my music...' I whispered to Cass.
'I don't want to leave my books.' Cass said with such pitiful face.
'You don't want to leave Max either right?' I said bumping my shoulders with hers.
'Well... Since he stops at our house every day, and my neighbor, who wouldn't?' Cass said in an innocent tone.
'Yah! Math, for the first class!' I said cheerfully. 'Math is one of my favorite classes!'
'I knew that since I was born.' Cass said yawning at my stupidness.
'You know me too well.'
'And so do you.'
