"don't even know who I am anymore..."

Entering his class silently, his gaze travels on each of his 37 classmates as he goes to his seat at the back, right beside the window, and right where the air conditioner usually points its chilling gaze. He sat down with a soft huff, dropping his light blue Hawaiian themed bag at the floor, he brought out his phone, ignoring the teacher at front, ignoring his classmates, and especially the fact that there's a supposed quiz on going.

"why do you continue to make my life hard?"

He gave out a frustrated sigh before tossing his phone inside the small drawer compartment of the school desk, making a loud echoing banging sound that echoes throughout the room. He stood up abruptly and went to the front, standing in front of the teacher, he extended out a long, tan skinned and hairy arm. Eyes half-open and filled with disinterest, he murmured something about a quiz to which the teacher replied with a frown before handing the student a copy of the quiz.

The teacher watched with calculating eyes as the student stumbles back to his seat, making a short grimace before the disinterested look left and changed with panic and fear. For a second, he wondered if the boy was freaking about the simple short quiz, but shook his head right afterward, it sounded impossible. He continued to watch as the boy then suddenly had a blank face before it suddenly changed to a chill and happy grin. The boy looked up, probably to check how many more minutes left to take the exam, and as his eyes goes back to his paper, he caught his gaze, and he gave a very...annoyingly arrogant smile before finally starting to answer his test paper.

15 minutes.

It took him 15 freaking minutes to solve the short math test paper. He stood up and went to the teacher, his arrogant smile still plastered on his face, he handed him the paper, making the teacher sigh.

"why are you so annoying?"

He asked for permission to leave the class, as he usually does, and just like all other times, the teacher allowed him. He left the classroom, just to go to the next door beside his class, the biology laboratory. Flashing the young plump and short woman (also known as the teacher of the laboratory) a sly grin, he sat at his usual seat of the long marble table and brought out his phone. He made a small scowl at the new scratch marks, probably from awhile ago, he had mused, before unlocking the phone to see immediately a picture of an adorable girl his age, flashing the camera a surprised smile, lights reflect against her big almond shaped eyes, making it seem like her eyes were pure obsidian reflecting against the sunlight, beautiful gemstone nested against the pale-tan skin, black hair tied up in a messy ponytail, she was a picture of perfection towards him.

"Angel..."

His smile grew lovingly as he opened the power point application, he started studying for his upcoming Anatomy quiz that afternoon. Just as he started getting in the mood of studying, he dropped his phone as he quietly gasped for breath. Grasping his chest, he gave out a low, shuddering breath before he opened his eyes, forgotten when he had closed them, his eyes fell into a disinterested manner. His gaze flew up to the clock and scowled, just as the recess bell rang. Flying his eyes to the door, he watched as his teacher from awhile ago came in and handed him his paper, giving a short nod, before turning away and leaving the laboratory after a short greeting to the working plump woman still on her seat.

"95" he muttered disinterestedly, almost heartless and cold, "that's a bad grade"

He suddenly felt like scowling, while also at the same time snickering. Neither emotions did he ever felt himself.

"Hi~"

Eyes snapping upwards, the harsh look melted into a softer look to see the young teen aged girl from the picture he was staring at was suddenly in front of him, holding out a...cupcake?

"I got you breakfast. Although I highly doubt sugar is a good thing to eat in the early morning, I'm pretty sure Ysa would kill me for feeding someone sugar so early, but it's better than letting me consume too much sugar so early," she giggled, "also I saw you just arrived for your math class, and completely missed out Science and English... again."

He replied with a shrug, neither getting the cupcake nor minding when she placed it in front of him. She glanced him over before pouting and then biting into her own handful of sugary confection, she waved as the plump teacher left to buy her own snacks.

"You're that guy" She said with a short pout on her lips before it turned to a bright smile and she skipped over to his side and poking his cheek, "did something happened?"

"me!"

Groaning in discomfort, the male teen laid his head on her shoulder and she immediately wrapped him in a gentle embrace. She had gently ran her small and soft fingers through his curly black, steel-wool like hair.

He whimpered as he hugged her tighter, making her gasp then sigh. She squeezed his shoulders gently, in a sign of comfort, and hummed silently to calm him down.

He sighs quietly and looks up to meet her eyes, "Hi K..." he muttered with a small, tired smile

"Hi J~" she replied with a cheerful hum, patting his head, she titled her head and sighed once more, "any reason why everyone is agitated?"

He kept silent, falling into a state of alert and asleep, honestly giving no heed to the "no hugging/cuddling/etc" rule of their highschool. He was closing his eyes when the bell rang once more, making him painfully aware he wasn't gonna see his Angel once more until 3pm.

Begrudgingly, he let her go from his tight grasp. She gently patted his hands and with a short, "see ya later", sprinted back to her class. He stayed at the laboratory, only going to class when he was called, and leaving soon after an approval from the teacher.

This was his life.

How fun.
