Jeongguk's P.O.V:

Tae got shocked because of me being too nice. Why am I too nice? I'm usually always mean to others but for some reason I'm not with Taehyung even though he's the only one I have to be mean to.

"Kookie," Tae interrupts my thoughts. I hum in response. "Can you explain to me now why you're different? We have another 2 hours till we have to leave." He pouts, basically begging me to say yes with his puppy eyes. "Okay," I say heading towards a coffee shop near the GUCCI store.

I walk up to the counter of the shop and order an espresso, I look over my shoulder to Tae and ask him what he wants. Tae points at the Hot chocolate and smiles at me. I order a hot chocolate and pay for the orders. Tae walks to find a nice table for two. I wait for the drinks and finally they were made. I grab the drinks and head to the table where Tae was.

I take a seat and look at him in the eyes. Beautiful eyes I have to say. I look down avoiding awkward eye contact. "So you really want to know?" I ask still looking down. He nods while taking a sip of his hot chocolate. "Well we have to be quiet just in case any angels or demons are here." I say but looking at Tae.

We can't sense any angels or demons in human form. Anyone here could be an angel or a demon so we have to stay low. Because some creatures snitch if we are talking like this.

Tae scoots closer to me over the table so he can hear my whispers. "Okay, don't cause a big scene about it alright? No one can know." I say with a deep voice to scare him a bit and have him not tell anyone. "I pinky promise Kookie." He says cutely.

"You know those stories about the fallen Angel when we were small?" I look at him waiting for a reply while I took a drink of my espresso. "Yeah what about it?" He asks a bit concerned. "How the Angel was a woman who got banned from heaven and fell into the world of demons but survived?" I say, not really asking because I'm sure he's heard the tale before. It was a tale everyone knew. "Yeah, but that's just a tale, it's not real. My friend told me that." He takes another sip of his hot chocolate.

"Its not just a tale it's real, the woman turned into a 'demon' and fell in love with another demon. She then had a son." Tae gestures me to finish. "I am the son," I look down gulping, waiting for a reply which never came. "I know it sounds crazy but it's true, please don't tell anyone." I shut my eyes not wanting to see his disgusting reaction.

"Kookie, I would never tell why would you say that? Hearing this makes me like you even more, I want to help you, be friends-"

"You'll just leave though, one day when Jimin dies, we won't see each other ever again. No one has been nice to me my whole life except my mom until she died of heat when her human died. You won't stay forever and I want you to because I won't have anyone to talk to or-" I stop talking, Tae was hugging me tightly across the table. " Yes one day it will happen so let's make our friendship the best we can" He says hugging me tighter if that's even possible. I smile and hug back. But we get shocked a little but we ignored it.

"Please don't leave me, I have no one,"

"What about your dad?"

"He had to sacrifice himself for me to stay alive because the gods didn't accept me."

"I'm sorry Kookie, but I have a question." I look Tae in the eyes. And nod in response.

" What happened to your mom's human when she turned into a demon?"

"The human was already dead when she turned into a demon."

"Why?"

"Because she told that human everything about us creatures and the gods killed the human right away"
