The Death of a Mad Life

As a girl named Katelyn was diagnosed with psychosis by her doctor in the late summer of 1995, her parents became worrying of her. They started trying to take her away from the outside world. They even took it far enough that they wouldn't enroll her in school the next year.

One night, only 2 days before school started, Kate killed her parents. Not in the way you think however, she killed them in her sleep, as if she was sleep walking, or eating. When she woke up at 6:00 the next morning she was under her parents bodies, and was covered head to toe in their blood.

Then she decided to bury her parents int the back yard. She did this, because she didn't want to get caught, and sent to an insane asylum. She dug their graves with her bear fingers, but managed to make a hole big enough for 3 people.

Then after stacking her parents bodies she started filling up the hole. Then she had thought "what if they found the bodies and they know it was me?" So she took the knife she had killed her parents with and tried her best to cover herself up. She then slowly stabbed herself in the neck, and died.

However she didn't feel dead. She was sure that there was nothing after death, but then she opened her eyes. She saw herself in a line with no front to it or back to it that she could see.

She was shackled around her neck, arms, hands, and feet. She felt intense, and unbearable heat all around her. Then the line started moving, and one person at a time moved forward.

Then after what felt like years she made it to the front of the line. Which was a red, reptilian looking man was sitting at a desk. He looked at a list and drank out of a chalice.

He then took a look Katelyn and spat his drink onto the desk, which melted where it hit. The demon had proclaimed "you, you are the one we need." He then got up, and spoke in tongues to another demon.

The demon from the desk started walking away and Katelyn was picked up by 2 other demons, and was quickly knocked out. When she woke up, she was in a brand new place. The demon from the desk was there, and morphed into a person in a suit and said "I guess this form would be better suited for your mind to take in."

Katelyn sat there on the floor and waited for the demon to explain what was going on. Then the demon said "Oh, my mistake I forgot to tell you my name. I'm Yeth, no need to tell me yours, I already know."

Then Yeth started to explain. "You have been selected by Satan himself to do a job. Don't worry it shouldn't be too much trouble. You just need to haunt depressed people, and get them to kill themselves, and if you do this job until the end of the world then you shall be rewarded. 'What is my reward' you may ask yourself, well let's just say you won't have to suffer for all eternity. Unless of course you consider marriage to the devil himself suffering."

Katelyn with a serious face said "I'll do it, unless it gets too boring." Then Yeth remarked "first, we need to see if you're up for it, we're going to get you through a test run." Yeth pulled out a picture of a boy in a grey hoodie. Katelyn didn't know what she was feeling when she saw the boy, but she seemed to be blushing through her pale white body.

Yeth noticed this and snapped her out of it. He said "if you can't do this you'll spend your eternity over in the dungeons of torture, got that." Katelyn nodded her head, and was sent to earth. The first place she saw was a bus stop. Followed by the boy from the picture sitting right next to her.
