Chapter 19: A Date...?

  "Hey guys!" -Jack.

  Its already lunch time and exactly a week since Jessa came. She already met the gang and was easily attached to them.

  "Hi, Jack."

  He smiled and sat next to me. Jannah was beside me while Jessa was across me.

  "Hey, Jack." -Jessa.

  I don't know why but i feel kinda uncomfortable when Jessa and Jack talks.

  "Hey." -Jack.

  "So, i was wondering if you wanna hang out tomorrow?" -Jessa.

  Me, along with everyone on our table, stopped eating and shifted our attention back to Jessa. Did she just asked Jack on a date?

  "Huh?" -Jack.

  Even he looks shocked of Jessa's sudden invitation.

  "You and me. You know, on a date?" -Jessa.

  I choked on my drink hearing those words come out of her mouth.

  "W-What?" -me and jack. O.o

  She was about to answer when my phone rang.

*Krriiinnnnggggg*

  I fished out my phone and checked whose the caller. Francis was written on the screen.

  "Oh My God!! Its Francis!" -Jannah.

  It turns out that she was looking over my shoulder.

  "Really? Hurry up, Rein and answer it! Make sure to loud speaker it!" -Kelly.

  "But-"

  "Shh, give me that!" -Jannah.

  Before i could react, she snatched my phone then answered the call. Jannah made a 'shhhh' sound to quiet my friends down.

  "Hello?" -Francis.

  I glared at Jannah then gave her a 'what-the-hell?' Look. She nugded my shoulder and gestured me to answer.

  "Hey, what's up?" -Me.

  I tried to deliver it as a greeting but it came out more awkwardly.

  "Nothing much. I just called to ask if you wanted to have Lunch tomorrow? My treat." -Francis.

  The girls tried not to squeal while Jack scoffed uncomfortable beside me.. Hmmm, what's up with him?

  "Uhhh, i-i don't know." -me.

  The girls glared at me dangerously like they wanted to kill me. I just shifted awkwardly on my seat, trying to ignore their death glares that can kill.

  "Aww, but sorry Rein. I'm not taking no for an answer." -Francis.

  The girls smirked while Jack groaned.

  "Then why did you ask?" -Me.

  I tried to joked around to lighten up the tension.

  "Just to warn you. I'll pick you up at 10." -Francis.

  "Do i have a choice?" -me.

  I heard him chuckled before hanging up.

  The girls finally let out their squeals. The other students were looking at our table like were crazy or what.

  "Guess i have a date?" -me.

  The girls nodded and smirked while Jack was emotionless? What's up with him? He's been acting weird since that phone call..

  "So, Jack. What about that Date?" -Jessa.

  Ok, so Jessa changed alot this past few years. She just invited a guy on a date which she just met for only a week. Is she crazy or just plain desperate?

  Its not that i don't trust Jack. Its the new Jessa i don't.. Is it possible that i can have the old Jessa back?

  "Sure.." -Jack.
