Parker stood up and smirked at me. I felt my face heat up and I crossed my arms over my body as I hesitantly walked to stand beside him. Harley hurried back to his spot and they all stared at me with googly-eyes. "Guys! You said you'd look away!" I exclaimed, embarrassed. I covered my eyes and they all bustled about and turned around.

I felt butterflies in my stomach when I pulled my hands away from my face and saw Parker standing in front of me, his eyes placed on me. Is this part of his act?

Parker slowly walked towards me and stood behind me. I shivered, feeling his body against my back. I held my breath, feeling as if everything in the world was frozen and it was just this insanely hot bad-boy and myself.

Parker leaned forward and breathed against my neck, and I suddenly felt vulnerable. Oh shit what if I smell bad? Can he smell fear? K wait hold up he isn't Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

Parker's lips grazed my neck, leaving small kisses on my skin that tingled. His muscular arms snaked around my body, very gently holding onto my forearms. I shakily let out the breath it felt I had been holding in for an eternity.

"Oliver..." Parker whispered against my skin and an unintentional smile spread across my face. I suddenly felt safe in this boy's arms, though I knew it was fictional.

I leaned back into his arms, and his grip tightened on me. He moved his lips to my ear and grabbed the back gently with his teeth. Warm air blew against me and I breathed.

And then he did something that caused me to break the spell he seemed to cast over me. He said one word that caused me to push myself away from him.

Parker put his arms up in surrender. Rage pulsed through me, and I felt I couldn't push that away. "Okay guys, all done." The despicable boy told the others and they turned around, chuckling and talking to each other.

While they spoke, I stared at Parker. "Can I please speak to you inside?" I asked impatiently. He rolled his eyes and headed inside. "We'll be right back."

Once inside, I found Parker leaning against the kitchen counter, a beer in hand. I felt my stomach gurgle but I fought the urge of throwing up. I couldn't do that now.

"Why are you always so rude to me?" I asked, but it was more of a whisper. Parker smirked and stared at me ridiculously.

"You're not a fucking special snowflake, I'm 'mean' to everyone, princess." He snickered.

"No, you're right. I'm not a special snowflake. But I'm sick of you treating me like garbage for no reason at all! Why should I have to deal with such negativity when all I ever do is respect you? And treat you with kindness?" I retaliated.

Parker laughed, then replied. "Don't you fucking get it? People with such Goddamn shitty lives don't need you there to show them how fucking happy and perky your life is. It's goddamn irritating and that's why you don't deserve any respect."

I stared at him. Astonished. "You really think that's all my life is? You think..." I breathed, and regained my voice. "Has it ever occurred to you that I have problems of my own? That maybe I just don't make as much of a deal about it as you do?" I didn't break my eye contact with Parker.

Parker was silent and stared at me. "What the fuck's your problem? Let me guess. Puppy ran away?" He said in a mocking voice.
