Mariano Buonarroti was a simple man. Before he found himself locked in a prison for the rest of his life that was.

Perhaps life was more simple now. No bills to pay. No meetings to get to or family dinners to go to. He had a rigid schedule he abided by. But if there was one thing about Buonarrotis was that they never did simple.

You'd be a fool to believe that.

Nevaeh Williams lived a hectic life. To say the least. She had a pair of twins that were approaching four years old. Enzo and Aurora Williams were everything to Nevaeh. Life had never been easy for the three but she'd be damned if she didn't love them.

The children's father was absent from their lives. He was rotting away in prison for crimes no one dared to tell her. Nevaeh never saw him and she probably never would. He hid too much for her to ever come back to him at this point. Nevaeh would never jeopardize her children for a man.

You'd be a fool to believe that.
