We get transferd to a garage. Our hands are tied on our backs. Some has a bruise forming under his eye."Are you okay?" I whisper to him. He just nods.
Well it wasn't our intension to get kidnapped on the first day. So our plans failed for today. I hope this doesn't affect the mission in a bad way.
The door opens and the same guy comes in.
"So I am sorry about this. But Mark told you some things and he also said that you had an interest in buying something. Of course we have to find out if you two are real. So tell me where your ID's are and we will check them out." The guy says.
"Back pocket." Sam says. The men takes it out of Sam's hand because he took it out himself.
"Where is yours?" The men asks me.
"I don't want to buy anything so you don't need mine." I say.
"I gladly will search your whole body if you don't tell me now." He says.
"Okay it is in the inside pocket of my coat." The guy comes closser to me and opens my coat with a smirk. He reaches out to my waist but before he could touch me I kick him in his nuts.
"That's my girl." Sam says laughing.
"The girl wants to fight or just give me her Id?" He slowly stands up and grabs my coat and takes out my ID.
He walks away.
"Nice one." Sam says. I give him a small smile.
''Hey we're going to get out of here.'' Sam says
''I know but I just don't like it.'' I say and Sam nods.
The door opens again and the guy walks back in. He gives Sam his ID back.
''Emily Smith, only 18 years old. You know that he is 24, right?'' He asks me.
''Yes I know. You got a problem with that?'' I ask.
''No of course not.'' He opens my coat again and puts my ID back. He takes out my Phone and types something. ''But if you ever change your mind, call me.''He also puts the Phone back. He unties my hands and then I untie Sam.
''So do you want to buy something?'' He asks.
''No I don't want to buy anything from here. Now can we go?'' Sam asks.
''Sure. If you ever change your mind you know where to find me.'' And that is right what we need. We can contect him when we want. We can say that we need quick money and maybe get in the business.
I never thought that it would go this fast. On the first day getting a person who can help us get in. We had to get kidnapped for that but it was worth it.
We walk out the building and go home.
"We made it. In the first day." I say.
"Yes it is a great start but we need to get in. Those two people weren't on the list so maybe we are in another group. But if this is the good one we have a shot." Sam says. "I'll call Williams to let him know everything."
"Do you mind if I go for a run later on?" I ask. I know when you are undercover you should know your partners where abouts. But I just want to go on a run by myself. Plus I will get to know the area. That is never a bad thing.
"Yeah sure just take your phone with you." He says. Sam takes out his phone and dials Williams. He sits down in the kitchen. I go to the bedroom and change into sport clothes. It has been two weeks since I have run. But I got time for it now.
I wave to Sam who is still sitting in the kitchen and he waves back.
The weather today is a little cold. There are no clouds in the bright blue sky.Now I know why I didn't become a weather journalist. From being just cold outside it came pouring out of the sky. I am completly soaked and another great thing. I don't really know where I am. So that is great.
There is a little café in the street so I go there to call Sam or ask for directions.
I open the door and quickly shut it again. I turn around and all eyes are on me."Hi. I am sorry but I am a little lost. Could someone maybe point directions to Myrtle Street?" I ask looking around the room. I notice that there are only men here. I hope one of them is so kind fo help me.
It is silent for a minute and right when I about to turn around and leave someone speaks up.
"Myrtle Street you said?" A men says. The sound come from behind the bar.
"Yes do you maybe know how to get there?"
"Yes I do but it will take about thirty minutes so I suggest you wait here untill the weather clears up." I now see his head. He is about thirty years old. He has a little beard and soft brown eyes and brown hair.
"Oh no that isnt necesarry. If you could tell me where to go. That is enough." I say hoping not to sound to hars.
"Just stay." Another guy says. But this one doesn't sound as nice as the men behind the bar.
"No sorry I got to go." I turn around and walk out the door. I take out my phone and just like I thought wet and almost no battery. Of course this happening to me. I am always the one with the bad luck.
I go back into the rain and go the way back I came from. I don't regonize the streets and I regret the idea of going on a run. What for good does running do. For me not so much at the moment.
Sam's POV
I shouldn't have let her go on a run alone. Or I should atleast have asked her for how long she would have been gone. It has been two hours now and weather isn't becoming any better. I tried to call her but it goes straight to voice mail.
After a half hour trying to figure out what to do, there is a knock on the door."Sam can you let me in I forget my key." I hear Emily say. She is here. Finally!
I open the door and see her standing there completly soaked."Looking good." I say with sarcasm.
"Thanks." She gives me fake smile. "I am going to take a shower." She walks straight to bedroom.
"What did Williams say?" Emily asks. We are eating diner.
"Oh I just gave him an update and he said that we are doing good but maybe try not to get kidnapped again."
"I wasn't planning on doing that." She says.
"Good."
"The food is delicious by the way." She says.
"Thanks. Okay should we go over the plans for tomorrow?"
"Sure."
"I suggest we let it sit for a while. If we respond directly that would be weird. So I guess we could do something fun tomorrow."
"I like that idea." She says.
