The gentle sound of rain pouring down was heard amongst the cave walls. It came down in soft streaks along the ivy, Careful not to soak the cave floor; As if something was protecting it. In the middle of the crypt hidden within the cave, There lay a woman. A pale, blue crystal was wrapped in the same ivy that crept along the cave walls. Everything in the land of Termina had been destroyed. The magic that held the crystal together and protected the crypt, Was from the same world of Termina. It also was the only thing keeping that woman alive. A small, Yet dim light had begun to glow in the cave. It was dark outside, it was peaceful; Yet the crystal shattered. The woman stood up. That woman, Was known to many as Tenshi Kage, Wife of Oni Kage and mother of Yume. Oni, The sovereign god of Termina, Had shattered her heart, similar to the crystal holding her. Tenshi's single, pale blue eye opened. She had been asleep for thousands of years in a place that she had never known. Outside the crystal casing, Lay two Keaton statues. Between the statues, Was a coffin; Much smaller than the crystal she was inside of. Tenshi stood up, And waved her hand; Which began to emanate the same, pale dim light that broke the crystal. She touched her neck, Realizing that she still had the immortality necklace on that Oni gave to her on her wedding night.A single tear fell down her face. Where was her husband, Where was her son. Questions that would eventually be answered, Yet for now, She felt empty. She slowly stood up, removing the ivy that covered her. Her pale blue dress lay in tatters against her pale skin. She waved her hand once again, And the shambled dress was gone. She walked over to the coffin, And realized that two single pieces of her husbands sword were laying on the crypt floor. She gently picked them up, And pressed them against her chest; Cutting herself in the process. She fell down to the cave floor, and wept. Her heart had been shattered into thousands of pieces, Much like Oni's sword. Tenshi knelt before the coffin, And removed the lid. Inside, She expected to find her son; Yet she found a small brown dress in its place. It was the same dress she had worn as a child when she had first met Oni in the woods. She waved her hand over the dress, and it appeared on her. She stood up. She was going to find Oni, and Yume, and they were going to be together again. She waved her hand over her right eye, Which had sealed up with blood while she was asleep. A pale blue eyepatch appeared over the hole, And she wrapped the same pale blue ribbon around her head. She gently lowered her ears, And waved over her chest.A hole had been born where her heart had been. She pulled her dress up, And appeared a pale blue corset around her, Which held the dress up. She waved her hand over her legs, and appeared a pair of light blue stockings and small brown boots. She looked at the pieces of Oni's sword again, Another tear falling down her face. She waved her hand over them, And they became entwined again; Forming a double-helix shape in the form of a dagger. She gently pressed the dagger against her chest, And screamed as it went straight through the hole in her chest. She fell down again, In tears. She was truly empty inside, Just a shell. Oni had stolen her heart the night that she jumped from the Clocktower, And she was used. She took the dagger out of her chest, And threw it against the crypt wall. Her claws came out, and she began to claw at her face, Sobbing between every slash. She began to shake violently before standing up as a flash of lightning shook the crypt. She looked into one of the crystal shards, And saw three deep gashes against her face. She stood up, A single white tear falling down her face, Healing the gashes. Her claws retracted, and she grabbed the dagger. She pushed the dagger into her stockings, And opened the crypt door. She stood outside the crypt, and a barren wasteland opened up before her. She had known that she was going to suffer trying to find him, But she would do anything to find him again. She would do anything for him, Even if that meant destroying herself in the process. Tenshi Kage was no longer the same Goddess of Innocence that remained in Termina; Termina was long gone. She looked at the crypt floor, and her eyes flashed a bright light before she fainted.
