Adam looked at the doorway where Tommy was standing, looking at him. "You wanna but clothes for you today?" Adam asked. "How long will it take?" Tommy asked, looking down. "It depends on how quick you find something you like. And you can get as many outfits as you want. Just get a pair of my shoes and an outfit to wear when we go, okay? I'm already dressed, so I don't care what you pick," Adam said and Tommy nodded, walking into Adams closet. He picked a shirt and pants and bit his lip, looking down.

"I don't have any underwear," he yelled to Adam. "Just go commando!" Adam yelled back. "What's that?" "No underwear! I really don't care, if you aren't comfortable with that you can just wear mine," Adam said. Tommy shook his head and grabbed a pair of underwear and changed, walking back out.

"Ready?" Adam asked. "Sure," Tommy said and Adam led them to his car, driving to the store when Tommy got in. "Do you have a job?" Adam asked. "Well I did but I kinda got fired a few days ago. . ." Tommy trailed off. "Did you live where you worked?" Adam asked. "Yeah. They kicked me out," he said, nodding his head.

"And then three days after you found me," he added, smiling at Adam. "When we get home I'll order some pizza and we can eat out while we're shopping, you need food if you were out there for three days without anything." Adam said. "I didn't eat a lot anyways, I'll be fine," Tommy said.

"You need food to live. If you don't eat you'll die," Adam said. "Oh," Tommy said quietly, looking at his lap. "You didn't know that?" Adam asked. "No. I never went to school," Tommy said. "I can teach you if you want me to," Adam suggested and Tommy nodded.

"If you never went to school then how come you can still talk fine?" Adam asked. "Well, people taught me how to talk and stuff, just not school stuff. Well I mean some, so wouldn't be like a fifteen year old with a brain of a five year old," Tommy said. "How old are you?" Adam asked. "Twenty. What about you?" Tommy asked. "Well, twenty I guess. It's hard to say. When I trust you I'll tell you," Adam smiled.

"So ill tell you why I was naked on the street and you'll tell me why you don't know your own age?" Tommy asked. "Something like that, yeah," Adam said and Tommy nodded.

"Do you trust people easy?" Tommy asked. "I don't know. I used to, but those people weren't um, I shouldn't have trusted them," Adam said. "You can trust me," Tommy said soflty, rubbing Adams knee. "We're here," Adam said and they got out of the car, walking into the store.

Three hours later they had fifteen shirts, twelve pants, eight pairs of shoes, some underwear, pajama bottoms and extra shirts for pajamas, and some make up and nail polish. "Why do you need makeup?" Tommy asked. "Because I look stupid without it," Adam replied. "I bet you don't. When we get home take all the makeup off for the rest of the week," he said. "If I do that, then you have to wear it for a week," Adam grinned.

Tommy groaned, throwing his head back. "Fine," he said after a few seconds and Tommy nodded. "Good. I'll order some pizza when we get back," Adam said and they drove to the house.

~~~
Tommy opened the bathroom door and walked into the living room, sitting on the couch by Adam. "Is there gonna be a thunderstorm tonight?" Tommy asked. "Probably. Why?" Adam asked, handing Tommy a slice of pizza. "No reason. I guess I'm kinda scared of them," Tommy admitted. "Kinda or whenever you hear thunder you squeal and try to hide yourself?" Adam asked. "The second," Tommy blushed, hiding his face. "Latter," Adam said. "What?" Tommy asked.
"If there are two things it's the first or the latter. Instead of saying the second say the latter," Adam said. "The latter," Tommy said. "Want another peice of pizza?" Adam asked and Tommy nodded. "So, the thunderstorm," Tommy said. "Do you want like, more blankets or something?" Adam asked. "No, I'll be fine," Tommy said. "Okay," Adam sighed, turning the tv.
A few minutes later the thunder started. Tommy gasped and grabbed Adam, hiding his face. Adam chuckled and wrapped his arm around Tommy, pulling him closer. "The thunder can't hurt you," Adam said. "Well it could!" Tommy pointed out. "You'll be fine," Adam said and Tommy scooted closer to Adam, hiding his face in Adams shirt. Adam smiled.
"Wanna sleep in my room with me?" Adam asked. "O-okay," Tommy gulped, whimpering. "We should go to bed now," Adam said and got up. Tommy looked at him, frozen in his spot on the couch. "You need me to carry you?" Adam asked. Tommy started to shake his head but then nodded as he heard more thunder.
Adam smiled sympathetically and picked Tommy up, carrying him to his room. He set Tommy on his bed and laid down next to him, wrapping his arms around him. Tommy snuggled closer to him, sighing and closing his eyes.
