Miria's P.O.V

"So, what are we going to do now, I can clearly tell you that that kid doesn't know nothing even if I don't approve the way they treated" I told Meli as he went behind the counter of the kitchen, slowly, he started to take out a pan...poor kid.

"We will give this kid some food in exchange for info and don't say nothing on the taste, it must be a suprise" he grinned as he chopped a carrot.

"What a bastard...sure, but I repeat my question that you obviously didn't answer: What are we going to do now" I repeated while taking my seat on the counter, Princ...I mean Elizabeth sat beside me and smiled.

"Hey, Miria, can I talk with you for a minute?" she asked looking at me, she wasn't blinking "Sure Eli" I told her and we went upstairs.

"Soooo....what did you want to talk about?" "Ok... do you like lord Meliodas?" she asked me.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH" I couldn't resist this time, nice one Eli, nice one but when I looked at her she still was looking at me "Is that a yes?

"Oh god no, absolutey no Eli, what the hell!" told her "Really!!!" "Of course, he is all yours but now let's go down, dwarf is waiting for us" and I took her back down where we where greeted by a pissed off Mead that was accusing Meli.

"Your just a kid" "I'm really not" "Sure...but anyway, what is this place, a tavern?" "Right you are! This fantastic place is the Boar Hat, my place" "Really, because judging by the food you cook, I thought that you where joking" and your damn right Mead, you really are....
"Not I'm not but a pact is a pact, tell us about you friends; The Eight Deadly Sins" Meliodas asked, "Oh...about them I lied, I don't know them but I wish I would" Mead finally responded as he putted his hand behind his head.

Then it hit me.

That sweet fragrance, so good and difficult to obtain, THAT was Vanya's Ale and the dwarf was now sitting there, drinking it peacefully without even giving me a bit, he knows that I love that damn him!

"Hang on...that smell...that's Vanya's Ale, isn't it? But is it okay for a kid like you to be drinking that?" Mead suddently asked.

"I told you, I'm not a kid." he responded as the kid continued, "That stuff tastes really good,huh?" "Of course, it's the best ale there is, sweet and full bodied" I jumped in "And I am a little angry that dwarf over there didn't even tell me that he still had some of it in this kitchen" I finished as capt'n gulped.... the message had gone through.

"But still...I heard from the village headman that you are a real prankster, he told me everything about you." Elizabeth said as she got closer to him.

"What's with you? Who do you think you are missy? he rudely stated, I was going to give the brat a punce but Eli was faster and she kneeled down to him "You see, when I was little, I was also often scolded by my father for playing pranks" she said,

"Heh, so what?" " Isn't it obvious, I just wanted to get his attention 'cause you see, he wasn't my real father. One time, I climbed a really tall tree that was in the garden and tried to give my father a scare. " she paused a bit, "But when he saw me he turned pale as a ghost and climbed up the tree after me and that man who had never climbing a tree in his life was risking his own well-being and obviously, he fell out of the tree and hurt himself, thought not seriously" she finished her small story with a sob, she really must miss her family.
