Felicity was new in town and needed a place to stay. A new beginning for her and her baby, that she just found out she was carrying. Her boyfriend dumped her when she told him, and now she was all alone with no job and almost no money to fend for herself. All of a sudden she slammed into a brick wall, or what she thought was a brick wall. If brick walls suddenly had hands " I'm sorry, Miss. Are you okay?" Said a very deep voice. She looked up and the very first thing she noticed were his ocean blue eyes. He was tall, maybe about six foot two with straw blond hair. He looked like someone that could be on a cover of a magazine. He had a black cowboy hat on and a plaid shirt , and jeans. " Miss?" She blinked. "Oh, yes. I'm fine!" she said. She looked at him and said. "Do you happen to know of a low rent place I can stay? I'm expecting and need a job and a house." The man looked at her and said, " Yeah, I happen to have a little cabin you can use. And you wouldn't have to pay me. Find a job and save the money for you and the baby." " Thank you, Mister." He looked at her. "I'm Nik Williams." he said. "I'm Felicity Jones. Thank you so much for helping me out," she said. "It's no problem at all.
Nik never expected to bump into a stunning woman. As he looked at her he saw her features. she had eyes the color of a cornflower, and hair the color of straw, just like his own. She also had very long eyelashes. When he had found out she was expecting he just had to help her out... It's what an ex Army Vet would do. She looked at him now. "Do you know of anyplace that is looking to hire somebody like me?" she asked. "There's a little cafe that needs a waitress, that's the only place I can think of. But if you're really really good, customer's will probably give you a bigger tip. It's called Bluebelle Cafe. I can show you where it is." he said. " I would appreciate it. It's a good thing I was a waitress in the last town I lived in. And I'm really good at waitressing. And I like doing it because the tips are really good." Nik nodded. "It definitely helps that you've done the same job before." Nik nodded at her and walked away.
