It all started when he moved in. I was the girl that was... Weird. I was quiet. Then I met him. Everyone had a crush on him, but they all liked him for his looks. I liked him, but I liked him for his personality. And his smile. His name was Devyn. He was so sweet. My friends Natalie, Maya, and Halle told me to go for it, but I said no. I said no because how could anyone like the quiet girl. "I heard he's moving into a 2 house apartment. Technically it is a big house, and it only has two rooms." Maya said. "How did you know that?" I said. "Kat, he's my cousin." Maya said. "Right..." I said. The bell rang. Time to go home. I'm walking home and Devyn seems to be following me. 5 minutes later he left. When I got home I plopped my bag on my bed.

Devyn: Nothing much U
Kat: nm. Um I don't mean to be rude or anything but why are u talking to me
Devyn: um. I don't really know. Just want new friends I guess. Right now my friends kinda suck. Their mad at me for not doing my part of the project and we got an f.
Kat: oh that sucks.
Devyn: yea. Well I just moved.

Devyn: I just dropped my phone lol

Kat and Devyn make eye contact outside their doors. He already painted his door black. No wonder it looked different today. Devyn and I have an awkward silence. "Hey." I finally said. He rushes into his room. He ignores my text. What did I do. Ugh what's the point of knocking. I'll never know. I go into my room and played iMessage games with Natalie, Maya, and Halle. Better to not mention what happened.
