"It's Called Being An A--."
*Ring. Ring.*
Brad : "'sup?"
Trisha: "Why haven't you called me back yet?"
Brad : "Trisha? 'bout what?"
Trisha: "'bout what? 'bout what? About what happened
when....when we met together four days ago!"
Brad : "I was supposed to call you about that."
Trisha: "Of course you were. Do you think a woman
would allow a guy to kiss her and not expect
a phone call afterwards? It makes her feel
cheap."
Brad : "Oh."
Trisha: "Well?"
Brad : "Well what?"
Trisha: "Why haven't you called me in four days? I
shouldn't have to be the one who has to call
you, ya know. That's the guy's job."
Brad : "The guy's job? What about that whole 'Women's
Lib/Feminist' thing that you chicks are into
these days? All that, and you women STILL
think it's the guy's responsibilty to always
call you?"
Trisha: "Of course!"
Brad : "You women really oughta make up your minds.
You can't have it both ways."
Trisha: "Yes, it's true that women are more empowered
than in years past. But that doesn't mean we're
opposed to being treated like ladies. We still
want guys to be considerate. It's called being
a gentleman."
Brad : "It's called being an a--."
Trisha: "Why would you....?!"
Brad : "Like I said....You can't have it both ways.
No guy with any ba--s in his pants is gonna
jump through your hoops."
Trisha: "That's not what I mea.....!"
Brad : "I think it is. It's a not-too-subtle, under-
handed way of manipulating and controlling
men to get them to do what you want. Other-
wise known as a 'One-sided Relationship'.
One person just gives and gives, while the
other just takes. Sounds like you want to
wear the pants here."
Trisha: "That's got to be the most chauvanistic thing
