"What the hell are you doing here?" I ask while my arm throbs.
"I -I just... You looked like you needed someone... I- I don't know..." He looked down... away from me.
"It's not your job to be standing here and worrying about me, that stopped the moment you and fuck face decided to get together." I said pissed.
He didn't say anything as he knew I was correct. He looked down again, but this time he caught a glimpse at my wrist as I went to close the door on him.
"Jules, what happened?" He asked as he grabbed my self-inflicted injured wrist, stopping me from shutting the door.
I yank my arm back from him, keeping it close to my chest. "It's none of your concern." I reply as I go to shut the door again. He stopped me again by putting his foot in between the door and the door way.
"Jules." He says sternly.
"What? What? WHAT?" I shouted.
He looked at me, like he knows what I've started doing to myself. "Jules..." he looks at me with pity... I don't need his pity... I don't want it...
Tears come running down my face as I look downwards. "You don't get to pity me or care about me anymore... and if you did, you wouldn't have done what you did." My voice lowers. " But no... You don't get to pity me... Not after what you did, Not after you left me for her..." My voice breaks.
He looks downwards again.
"...not after you left me for my bestfriend... not after you hurt me..." I look at him, tears running down my face.
"Jules..." He says my name again as he removes his foot from the doorway.
"Now if you'll excuse me... I need to go..." I shut the door and as I do he says my name once more, because thats all he can do... is call my name... I lock it and turn around and lean against the door, I hear his car engine start. I slide down and silently sob my heart out in my empty house as I hear his tires crunch against the gravel in the drive way as he leaves... as he leaves me for the last time...

● ● ●I carry the paint I just bought at the hardware store, upstairs to my room. I already covered my floor and all my furniture in my room with the plastic sheets, I also had bought with the paint. I already put the setting paint on.
My phone is playing my playlist through the speakers, Beautiful Remains by Black Veil Brides comes on loud and clear. I open the paint. I grab the paint roller and dip in it the black liquid. My hair is pulled back into a ponytail and I'm wearing some old blue tights and a red tank top.
I let the words flow through me.
"... WHAT YOU LIVE FOR
NOW IS DEAD!..."I start painting the left side of the light green wall by the window.
"...THIS LOVE WILL SET YOU FREE
FROM THOUGHTS OF YESTERDAY!..."
I stand on the chair against the wall and start painting at the top.
"...NOW DEATH HAS COME TO PLAY!..."
I get down of the chair and throw a whole paint can on the wall angrily and continue to spread it with the roller. I still have four cans of paint.
