Gavin-

We’re all back in America, safely back in America. We’re about three weeks late, but who’s counting? We’re shooting the Last episode of Mysteries of High School today. I can’t believe my time working with Chelsea is ending in only a few hours.

“Actors to your dressing rooms. For costumes and makeup” The director calls out to everyone through his annoying megaphone, not that he needs it, his voice breaks the sound barrier without it.

“That’s out cue.” Chelsea says with a smile, she says a quick goodbye to Austin and Zach before heading back to wardrobe with me. “I can't believe it’s all almost over.” She says as her costume consultant begins working on her outfit. “It’s like Mist of Dreams all over again.”

“But you’re not giving your career up this time. Just ending a contract.” I point out. Our consultants send us to our dressing rooms and we come back dressed ready for makeup. Chelsea only wears makeup to film, never any other time. I learned that the first day working with her.

“Ready?” she asks I nod and we head to the set together, “Me too.”

Goodbye Scene take one and… Action!” The director calls.

Savannah: “I’m so sorry Jake,” she says, her eyes filled with sorrow. “Believe me. I wish things were different.” Her voice is quiet and breaking.

Jake: “I’m begging you. Please. Stay here.” I tell her taking her hands in mine for the last time.

Savannah: “If I stay I lose my family. I'll never see them again.” She says apologetically, her mother’s voice call her off stage, “Goodbye Jake. I'll never forget everything you’ve done for me.” her tears fall slowly from her eyes.

Jake: “Let me come with you. Please.” I ask her, “If you won't stay let me come.”

Savannah: “It’s not that simple. It’s not my decision.” She answers she looks into my eyes her eyes filled with tears. “I am so sorry Jake.”

Jake: “I… Will I ever see you again?” I ask her my own voice raw with grief, the thought of never seeing her again is killing me.

Savannah: “I sure hope so.” She answers she takes off her favorite locket tied on with a satin black ribbon, “Here,” She says handing me the locket, “Watch over this for me until I see you again.” She folds the locket in my hand.

Jake: “Hope.” I speak quietly and she nods, “Goodbye Savannah.” I hug her one last time before she starts walking out the door. She turns one last time and I see her through the window, she’s saying something. My phone beeps with a new text from Savannah.

Savannah: Her text pops up on my screen, “I love you Jake Myers.” I look and sure enough, that’s what she’s saying. Another text pops up, “I don’t know when, I don't know where, and I don’t know how. But one day we will see each other again. Of this I can be certain.”

Jake: I watch as  she climbs into the back of the black van with the tinted windows, “I love you Savannah. I always will.” I watch as the van pulls out of sight. One last time. My high school days hold mysteries, love, heartbreak, friendship, and all things that no one could ever imagine. Nothing is as mysterious as a girl who can come into your life and change it all in only a few months then leave.

“Cut!” the director calls, “End scene that’s a wrap.” He addresses Chelsea, “Chelsea thank you so much for doing this season. Our rating are up a whole twenty percent.”

“It was no problem,” Chelsea answers coming out of the car, even though I know how happy she is that she is no longer working for Price. “Surprisingly enough I actually enjoyed it.”

“Maybe you’ll do some guest star appearances sometime?” the director asks.

“I don’t know.” She answers, “Maybe.” She checks her watch, “I have to go, if you two will excuse me.” she races off stage to the dressing room coming back moments later in her ordinary clothes she races back to me, “I have an interview, I'll meet you and the boys back at your pent.”

Not knowing what else to do I just nod. My time working with her is up. Unless.
