*Warning!* This story does have some mature themes I do not want to trigger anyone. I also am making it clear that i am NOT trying to sexualize children in any way. That is disgusting and not what I want or need in my life or story. So please do not start hating on me if something  offends you.

I am also setting this story in present time.

Now.... Let's get into the background of the story!!

Hey. My name is Kaysie. I'm pretty different than all the other kids in town. Everyone calls me a freak. Mainly because they think somethings wrong with me. I am originally from a small town in Massachusetts. That was until I finally found the courage to run away. I'm going to let you know something... I am not normal. Not even in the slightest. Ever since I was little, I knew there was something wrong with me. Ever since I flung my dad across the room because he took the last slice of pizza. Ever since then my dad has been trying to divorce my mom. But it's really difficult to. She's also been seeing another guy the same exact time as my dad. In some way, my dad is the side chick. 

See, i'm 1 of a triple. I'm the oldest, then my sister Mickey, then my youngest Suzie. We're all 16. We all have these so called "powers". Mom said we have 2 other sisters, but they're long long and they should not be such a role in out lives. They also have different fathers from us. Their names are Jane and Kali. I really want to meet them. I have visions that I'll meet them one day. I know exactly what their face looks like. I just can't find where they are. It's like that part of my powers is not able to function correctly. 

I also have 2 half sisters and 1 half brother. My oldest half sister,Bloom, is 17. She's a year older than me. That's where my mom and dad get confusing. My mom and dad have been married for 18 years. Yet her first child was with a "stranger". Then she had us with dad. He's been trying to get a divorce for 14 years. That's how I now have a half brother, Roy. He's 13. So a year after my dad claimed divorce, he was born. The divorce papers are getting more and more difficult. Since I ran away from the lab with my family, we've had to switch our last names and we've had to switch towns. And that switches laws and paper reports. 

My youngest half sister is Dawn, she's 7. I have a strong feeling about her. Since all of us kids came from my mother, we all have these powers. 

Mickey's is that she can switch our ground. So if we're late to school and we're still at home. She can just snap her fingers and we'll be at school in a second. 

Suzie's is that she can freeze time. So if she senses danger, she can freeze time, and take us out, then put it back of course. It's even better if we're stealing food though. Because she'll just freeze time and we'll use mickey to take us all home. 

Bloom's is that she can tell auras. So if she gets a bad signal from someone, she knows how to tell us right away and get us away from danger. Her power has saved us so much.

Roy is kind of a boring power. He only has super strength and super speed. I guess the girls got all the good ones. 

I've been told that Kali can make people hallucinate. And that Jane can manipulate everything around her. Like, moving things with her mind. And communicating inside her mind. Mom can tell the future. She sees a lot of things that normal people wouldn't see. Not even us. 

Mom tells me that Dawn and I are special. She said that we are the special ones because we have everything. We can time travel like Mickey. We can freeze time like Suzie. We can make people halucinate like Kali. And have mind communication and movement like Jane. We can minipulate people's minds to make them get us what we want. We can see the future. We can see what people can't see (just like mom, but we're a little less intense). We can tell aura's like Bloom. We have a lot of extra knowledge. So we're always the top leaders, hence how I was able to get everyone out of the lab. I think the most important on though, is that we can erase memories from the past. We can use many of our gift at once.

 Mom always said that we'll be the ones to go down in history. We won't tell Dawn about her powers though. She doesn't know how to control herself yet and we all decided it would be best if she just doesn't know for now. We've told her that she was in the lab with us because she told the guard she felt lonely. She believes it since she's only 7. She doesn't really know how to use the whole knowledge gift yet. 

Tomorrow is our first day of this new school in Hawkins. Instead of being the Horan-Martinez kids. We are now all the Thirlwall kids. We're all going to be under only mom's custody. The dad's are not going to be in the picture. They are both in houses down the street. On each end of the street. 

I heard that my school is full of a lot of rude people. I think i'll just drive me and my full sisters to school tomorrow so that we'll come in with a good bang instead of a "omg your mom dropped you off!" bang. We're juniors in high school. I think we'll be fine. I think the only good part about going to school tomorrow is that it will be the last week before the 2 week Christmas break! Then i'll be turning 17 on December 31st!
