Brand New Eyes (soul eater fan fiction)

ONE

~Korra~

"Come on Korra, wake up its our first day." I heard someone say as they woke me up,I opened my eyes and glanced at the clock. Six freaking thirty in the morning, are you kidding me. We freaking live five minutes away from this school, why am I up now? I looked up to find a nerdy brunette shaking me, attempting to wake me. He flipped his hair, which I find unnecessary, then slapped me across the face. "Come on Korra, aren't you excited?" he asked. I sat up, "Are you fond of that hand? Because I swear I will cut it off if slap ever again!" I gave him a stern look. He cringed, "Stop making that face, it freaks me out." he said. I only giggled and got off the bed, "I know" I said.

I was about to reach form the bathroom door when I realized something. "Why the hell am I up at six thirty in the morning?" I asked him. "Because, A. you take forever to get ready. And B. classes start at seven. So hurry, Alice and I are ready."

After that he left the room, I began my morning routine. I took a quick shower, brushed my teeth and hair, then decided what I would wear. A black button up shirt with white buttons, tucked into a black mini skirt, and black wedges with off-white laces you don't actually tie. I left my hair down and put on a off-white beanie like thing.

When walked into the living room, I couldn't help but stare at my sisters choice in clothing. She was wearing black booty shorts, a black bandeau, a black varsity jacket, and black and white sneakers.

"What's wrong?" the blonde asked. "Alice I know you want to make an impression. But, I don't think this is the kind of impression you want to make." I told her just then Trevor walked in and sighed when he saw her outfit. He was disappointed as well.

"Come on we have to leave." Trevor said while grabbing his backpack. "Stop judging my outfit, I haven't anything about you looking like a total dweeb." Alice said to Trevor as she grabbed her bag. She wasn't wrong, he did look like a dweeb, but dweebs rule. He was wearing a yellow long sleeve shirt with a black sweater vest and jeans, plus he had those glasses that everyone is wearing these days even if they don't need them.

"Trevor looks boss, nose let's go." I said walking out the door. They soon followed and we began to walk towards school, talking about nothing in particular.

Beep, beep, beep! I instantly smashed the alarm clock. Man, I really don't want to go to school but Jeff seemed excited about attending and I didn't feel like turning him down. I would never agree to changing schools but something about the DWMA I don't know, intrigued me.

I heard Jeff devouring something in the kitchen so I started to get ready. I put on shorts and a grey hoodie. I didn't really bother to brush my hair, it looked nicer when it wasn't brushed. When it was brushed it becomes twice its normal size.

When I walked in the kitchen Jeff handed me a piece of strawberry cake. I smiled then began to eat it like it was my last meal. After my cake I was in a great mood. Jeff and I walked to our new school, which was only five minutes away from our apartment.

When we turned a corner and I crashed into a girl with long red hair. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" she yelled in my face. "Relax it was an accident, she didn't see you." the blonde next to her said. I didn't say anything, but I was a little annoyed. "Let's just go." the red headed bitch said.

Non of us realized we were going in the same direction, and when we did it ingot really awkward. The silence was unbearable for Jeff so he broke it and ran up to the guy who was walking with the red headed bitch and Goldy locks. "Hey I'm Jeff!" he extended his hand for the other kid to shake. The geeky giant( a/n: if you can figure out where that's from and message me your answer you get a prize. Hint: Its not an anime.) shook Jeff's hand happily. The girls stopped and turned around. "Hi I'm Trevor Hale! These are my sisters Korra and Alice." he gestured to the each girl as he said their name. The two boys walked in front of all of us and began a, what seemed hilarious to them, conversation. "Too bad he doesn't know Jeff's a homo." I mumbled to myself. The two girls each stood on one side of me. Alice on my left, Korra on my right. "Listen I'm sorry for shouting at you. Its kinda in my nature." Korra apologized. I nodded, "Its fine really." Alice put a hand on my shoulder, "So that's your partner?" she said, pointing Jeff. "Yeah, he's my meister."

"Trevor, Alice, and I are all weapons and meisters." Korra said. "Really?" I asked, I thought that was actually pretty cool. "Yeah," she began' "Our parent were both..." she stopped and began to stare at something ahead of us. I followed her gaze, then I saw what looked like a million stairs. "Holy crap!" Alice yelled.

What better way to start the day then to climb something as high as Mount Everest. Okay, here we go.
