Valentine's Day Kaylee's POV The next morning I woke up pretty late. It was 10:30. I rubbed my eyes and grabbed my phone looking at the day. It was the 14th. Valentine's day already? I didn't even know. I looked over at Jack's side of the bed. He was gone. I rushed out of bed and quickly got ready. I grabbed Jonah's keys.
"Where are you going?" Tessa yelled at me.
"It's Valentine's day!" I yelled running to the car. I started the car and drove straight to Target. I hopped out of the car and stepped inside.
"Omg Kaylee!" A group of girls ran after me. Oh no.
"Omg can I get a picture?" one of them asked. I nodded my head and quickly smiled. I hugged all of them and told them I had some stuff to do. I waved as I walked away and ran to the candy aisle. I grabbed a box of chocolates and some M&Ms with little candy hearts. I walked over to the toys department and grabbed a big bear. After I walked over to the card section and found a cute card. I smiled to myself.
"I think this is good enough" I said to myself running to the cash register.
"Hello!" The cashier said. I smiled at him as I put my stuff up.
"Who's the lucky man!?" He asked excitedly.
"Oh uh my boyfriend!" I said smiling.
"He's pretty lucky." The guy said. I smiled at him as he finished scanning my stuff.
"Here you go." He said starting at me.
"Oh thank you." I said quickly walking out of the store. I ran to the car and drove home thinking about that guy. He was kinda creepy. I arrived home a few minutes later and saw jack pulling in the drive way also. Shit. I ran out of the car and inside hoping he didn't see me. I ran upstairs laying all my stuff on the bed nicely and quickly signed the card and put it in the envelope. Making sure everything looked nice I ran downstairs to the kitchen. Omg it smelled so freaking good. I walked over to Daniel who was making bacon and eggs. I looked over at Alissa and Tessa who were flipping pancakes.
"Kaylee!" I heard someone say. I turned around and saw jack. He was holding a huge teddy bear in his arms and chocolate. I blushed and walked over to him placing a kiss on his lips. I felt him smile.
"Thank you jack. You didn't have to." I said taking the bear from his hands.
"You know I was wondering... Did you get me anything?" He smirked. I frowned.
"I'm sorry bud I forgot." I said playing it cool. His face became sad.
"Sike!!" I said pulling him upstairs. His face grew with happiness. He grabbed my waist and held me tight. I giggled.
"I got you one more thing." He said pulling out a ring case.
"Open it" he said handing it to me. I opened it. There was a promise ring in it. I smiled and put my hand over my mouth. I'm sorry but I started crying.
"You deserve it babygirl" jack said hugging me tight. He quickly kissed me and then we were called down for breakfast. I went and made myself a plate. I grabbed 2 strips of bacon, a little bit of eggs and 2 pancakes. I went and sat down next to Sofia.
"Happy Valentine's day Lauren" Jonah said handing Lauren a gift. Inside was a small koala bear and some truffles.
"Thank you babe!" Lauren said handing Jonah a long case. He opened it and inside was the watch Jonah had been wanting for months.
"You actually got it for me!?" He said picking Lauren up and hugging her.
"I love you, I love you, I love you" Jonah said kissing her all around her face. I smiled while the others passed gifts to each other. Once we finished eating we all decided that we should all just have a chill day. Zach went to the closet and pulled out some blankets. We all got cozy on the couch and watched some movies including 'The sadlot', 'The Goonies' and many others. I looked over at jack who was dozing off to sleep. I smiled and cuddled closer to him and just continued watching the movie.
