Chapter 7: Mixed Emotions

-Sky's POV-

I sigh and walk over to Andy. "Andy..."

"Go away!"

"Andy please..."

"No Sky! Just leave me alone!"

I walk away with tears in my eyes. I know I've betrayed him, but I can't help my feelings for Ash... I go over to Ash and he wraps me in his strong but gentle arms. I bury my face in his shoulder and cry. "Shhh, it's okay..." He says running his fingers through my hair. "A-Ash?" I stutter. "Yeah?" He says looking at me with his perfect brown gaze. "I-I.... I love you..." I whisper. "I love you too Sky, and I'm always here for you." Ash says. I sigh and let him bring me slowly to the ground and hug me tightly.

-Andy's POV-

"I love you..." I hear Sky say to Ashley. I hear him say it back to her. I take my bag and climb up the nearest tree. I go high and sit on a sturdy branch. I take out my blade. I press it to my wrist hard. I take a deep breath in. I close my eyes. I don't want to live anymore... I slowly slide the cold metal over my wrist. "Andy!! No!!" I hear Sky yell. I stop and look down at her. Her electric blue gaze locks with mine. "Andy! Please don't!" She cries. Only a few blood drops had appeared... "Andy... Please..." I hear her sob. I could ignore her and end it. End all this pain... I slide the blade just a little further... "Andy no!!" She cries and starts climbing up the tree. She gets to the branch I'm at and climbs over to me. She grabs my hand and looks me in the eyes. "Andy stop..."

"Why?"

"Because you're like my brother!"

"But you love Ash..."

"I-I love you too Andy... And I'm not just saying that..."

Whoa what? She loved me all this time and didn't tell me? Did she like to see me suffer? I look into her eyes.

"After all this time?"

"Yes Andy."

I take the blade off my wrist.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I was afraid to..."

"But..."

"I'm sorry Andy..."

"No it's ok..."

"No it's not... I should've been honest with you... And Ash..."

I move closer and hug her, being careful not to get any blood on her.

"Come on, lets get down from here." She says looking into my eyes. I feel the spark we used to have. "Okay." I say and we both climb down from the tree. Ash runs over. "Andy, you okay man?" He says. "Yeah." I say pulling down my sleeve. "Okay." He smiles. "Lets go get some dinner. There's some left over deer." Ash says and goes toward the others. Sky and I follow him. Things might finally be getting better...
