TONY

I know Mike said to give Lowri some space but she's been gone a couple of hours and I'm worried. He went home a few minutes ago so I walk towards the beach and the rocks where she sits. She's still there, earphones in. I don't know whether to go over or go back home. At least I know she's still there.

LOWRI

Some sixth sense makes me turn around and I see Tony walking back up the beach. He came to check I was still here. I sigh and stand up. I call his name and he stops. I run up to him and wrap my arms around him, hugging him tight. Things haven't been the same since I got back and I want him to know I never stopped caring. Never stopped loving him. He hugs me right back. I look up into his eyes and give him the most passionate and loving kiss I can.

TONY

I take Lowri's hand and lead her back to mine. As soon as we are through the door, I pull her to me again. I kiss her long and hard. We pull apart after a few minutes and she pulls on my hand to follow her upstairs. I willingly oblige. I've loved this beautiful girl for so many months.

After, I have a question for her.

"Lowri, when we were at the hospital about your arm, they asked me what your date of birth was and I realised you've never told me" I say.

"New years day" she whispers. I missed her birthday and she missed mine. We will have to make the next ones the best. It'll be her 21st.

LOWRI

We spend the rest of the day in bed, kissing, cuddling and just being together. I want to make up for lost time. We order pizza and for the first time since I got back I eat properly. My appetite is coming back and I need to get my strength up. I fall asleep in Tony's arms and sleep without nightmares for once.

TONY

It's been 2 months since Lowri came back. Her arm has been out of plaster a couple of weeks and she's been training like crazy ever since. I've been helping where I can and I've never felt so proud. She's better than she was at the last competition by a long shot. She's still a bit on the skinny side but after what she put herself through she's doing well.

The morning of the competition comes around quickly and we set off to Trestles again. Lowri is a bit nervous but I know she will be amazing.
