Chapter 22

"Marius?"
"Dominic? Is that you?"
"Yes, my good friend. I've missed you so much!"
"What's wrong? You don't seem yourself..."
"It's fine Marius."
"You sure?"
"Yes, of course. How are you?"
"It hurts to talk and move my face. Besides the stinging pain I'm ok."
"Oh, ok. No painkillers then?"
"They ran out about a half hour ago."
"I can get you some more if you-"
"Don't, I'll be fine. Thank you though."

"Elias is coming back at the end of the week..."
"That's good, he's been gone too long..."
"Too long..."

"So uh... Dom...how are you?"
"Yeah... not great. Can I be frank with you Marius? Can I trust you?"
"Of course Dom, we're best friends and I would never lie to you, you can tell me anything."
"Ok... well... first of all; Taina has been cheating on me for almost a week. I had just saw her... with Glaz, before I came here."
"Scheiße... I'm sorry to hear that..."
"Not your fault... Second of all; I'm back on the drugs Marius... I can't fight my addiction."
"Dom-"
"I know what you're going to say... 'sort yourself out and get help'..."
"Dom!-"
"Or I'll have to leave Rainbow-"
"Dominic, for God's sake relax. I believe in you to keep a stable mind and I believe in you to stay strong. Never before has this troubled so much so you can get over it again."
"I'm sorry Marius... it's just that I thought Taina was the one. But obviously not."
"Just take some time off. I'm sure Six would understand. Go on holiday, go and see family; see your brother..."
"Alright... I'll have to go back and see the situation I'm in first..."
"Why? What have you done now?"
"I almost put Glaz in the hospital..."
"Heh... you're going to be the thing that everyone is talking about. Hopefully it's not as bad as we think it'll be."
"Yeah... anyway... how's Monika?"
"She's... she's fine. Yeah, she isn't holding up too well. I can sometimes see her put on fake smiles. She isn't doing well... I can't get out of this hospital for two weeks. Then I'll have to wear some stupid plastic mask for a few days then I should be alright. Dominic..."
"Yes, Marius?"
"Promise me you'll protect Monika. Don't let any harm come to her. Please. Just do it until I'm out, things can easily get in her head... especially in these circumstances."
"Alright, I will."
"And hopefully that can get your mind off things..."
"I'll leave tomorrow, after seeing Elias. I can't leave without seeing him."
"I understand... tell him I said hello..."
"I will... it's been good to catch up. I'll see you later Marius."
"See you later, Dom. Good luck..."
"Yeah... thanks."

I'll do chapters like this to symbolise something important happening or something like that.
