Jack's POV (still)-
I wake up to an empty bed. I blink a few times before seeing that Kinney wasn't with me anymore. It was a dream... I sigh in relief, but does she actually cut? I then hear rambling voices and I look up to see Jonah and Kinney fighting. I quickly get up and walk over to them.
"DONT SLEEP WITH MY GIRLFRIEND!" I hear Jonah I yell at me.
"I. Am. Not. Your. Girlfriend." Kinney says angrily.
I just ignore them both and just walk closer to Kinney just exnaminating her.
"Dude get away from her!" Jonah yells at me.
I just look up at his with a devil stare.
"Shut up." I reply to him. "We did absolutely nothing. You did,... you broke her heart!"
Jonah with out instinct shoves me making me fall to the ground.
"What the hell man!" I yell as I get up. I go to punch him, until Kinney goes in front of him before I punch. I stop dead in my tracks.
"What the hell Kinney! I could have hurt you!"
"I can't let you just fight him!"
"Why are you standing up for him?"
"B-because..."
"Kinney..." I sigh "J-just come here." I say remembering what I really wanted to see. I skeptically come closer to her and I grab her arm.
"JACK!" She yells her face getting red.
"Get off her!" Jonah defends her.
"Not yet..."
"Ow! JACK STOP!"
"But I'm barely touching you... oh..." I say then slowly lift her sleeve up reveling a cut up red arm. "Kinney...." I say look at her tearful eyes.
"Why would you do this to yourself?"
"I have to! I can't handle the pain that Jonah is causing me. I-I have to cover it up."
"No, Kinney. You are too amazing to do this."
"No! No I'm not! I-i..."
I just pull her into a hug. She's falling apart.
I kiss the top of her head. I see Jonah in surprise, but also glaring at me.
"I just want to die." She whispers between sobs.
"Kinney." I say pulling her away from me to lock eye contact. "You are so loved and cherished, that if you died everyone would fall apart."
"But I don't feel that way Jack."
"We love you. I love you.... Your going to be okay." I say pulling her back into the hug.
Later Corbyn comes over after I had texted him. He enters the room and runs over to Kinney embracing her in his arms.
Corbyns POV-
"Kinney!" He says.
"Hi Corbyn."
"I know what happened. Th-that you cut."
I hear being to lightly cry.
"I just want everything to be over. I don't want to be here anymore. My...my life is so terrible and just disgusting. I feel like the world made a mistake...and it was me."
"Kinney no...you are not a mistake. You were never one and never will be. Your my best friend and I love you so much." I start to scratch her back to calm her down some. "You don't deserve this pain Kinney...You only deserve to be happy." I say supportingly.
Kinney's POV-
And with that, in Corbyns arms, and with the words he had just spoke... I felt it was over. The pain I have been feeling...it was just...over. Now the beginning of recovering was here.
"Just cleanse yourself the best you can of what hurting you so bad."he finishes.
I pull away from the hug and look in his eyes.
"Does that mean...Jonah?" I ask.
"If it is...then it is."
I softly smile and him and hug him again and we stay there for a few minutes.
