Bring Back Hope (Maze Runner)

About Alana:
I have been here for 3 years, I have been enjoying the time but, afraid for what lies ahead of me.
It's been another month so, a new greenie is coming.
I have to deal with more boys even thought I have friends here. Alby has me being a Runner since I can run and beat most of the boys in the Glade. Some times he already has someone on duty so I have to be with the climbers.

Alana's P.O.V
I ran up to the box although, I was the first one hear so I open the box, by the time I opened it, a boy shaded his eyes while he looked at me. We shared gazes than I heard boys say behind me

"What you find Alina?"

"Yeah,"

Than some I heard laughs. Gally pushed through the crowd than jumped down and grabbed the greenie. I didn't hear what he said. I didn't really care so I walked off going back to running duty. After I walked a few inches I heard foot steps than I fell while I was lying on the ground I felt a body on top of me.

Newt ran up to me and said sounding over protive

"You alright?"

"I'm fine,"

He stared at the greenie I saw the anger in his eyes than grabbed his arm and said softly

"Newt, didn't mean to,"

He calmed down and helped me up. After that he was thrown into the pit, and everyone went back to work. I climbed the latter and went onto the bridge.

It has been hours since I have helped Ably. I jumped down and saw that Gally had pushed down the greenie. I ran over there and went in front of the greenie, I said harshley said to him

"That's enough Gally, what is wrong with you and the new greenie,"

"He was about to go into the Maze so I had to stop him,"

"Is that a reason to be mad at him? No it is not he only has been here for 5 minutes and you want to start a fight?"

He throw a punch but, I blocked it and twisted his arm the wrong way. Everyone ran up to me but, Alby asked me

"What happened here?"

"She twisted my arm!"

Gally, he is almost like a child and always get me in trouble when I'm helping someone out even though he starts it.

"Send Alina to the pit,"

I go to the pit like usual, and sit there waiting for the punishment to be over. While I was in my thoughts someone was walking up to the pit and he sat down. It was the new greenie.

"Thank you,"

"No don't thank me, Gally is just a asshole all the time,"

"Hey what's your name?"

"Alina, have you figured out what your is?"

"Thomas,"

I took put my hand and said as I shook it

"Nice to meet you Thomas the greenie,"

We both laughed a little until Alby came over and said it was over. As soon as I walked out I told Alby that I would help him around he nodded and agreed. As I walked I said

"We have the climbers over there, here you will be working since its easy and your a greenie so, ya that's all I really needed to show you,"

"Where do you work?"

"Um... the Climbers and the Runners,"

"Nice,"

After a few seconds Newt and Minho came up to us and I greeted Thomas to both of them.

"Don't do anything to my sister greenie or you will go through bloody hell,"

I slapped his arm to tell him to stop. Minho laughed since he heard it to. We all split up into our separate jobs. After awhile I was on the bridge on the east doors when I heard screaming when I turned around Thomas was getting chased by Ben!

I held on to the rope with on hand while I held on to the basket with the other. Thomas scrabbled under the bridge I slide down and punched Ben in the face. I helped him up while the others where dealing with him.

He thanked me again but, I told the same thing but, minus the Gally part.

After they got him to the pit, all of us went back to work. Alby told me to get back to work so I did I got the basket full of berries my job was finished for the day. I went to find Newt to see how he's doing. I walked across the Glade to the woods, I looked around for him but, when a body walked I thought it was Newt. But, than my smiled faded and turned into a surprised face when I saw the man with the dagger in his hand. He stepped out of the shadows it showed his face. Ben's face.
