Story 2
It was her first day.
It was something to be celebrated.
Although Sam was not celebrating.
In fact she felt sick.
What if no one liked her, what if she didn't make any friends, the list goes on.
All these thoughts were running through Sam's head. It was her first day of high school, the jungle, her brother called it.
She was standing at the front gates, her hands twisted around her school bag strap so tightly that her knuckles were going white. She was hesitant to go inside, primary school wasn't the best for her, she had scars to prove it.
But Sam mustered up the courage and marched into the main entrance, with her head held high, even though she still felt sick. He palms were sweaty as she signed in for the first time in the roll book, the pen almost slipping out of her hand.
As Sam wandered around the school, the nerves began to die down and loneliness started to take its place, all around her there were friends, laughing and smiling at the smallest things while she stood there alone, waiting for something to happen.
Eventually the first class bell rang, and as Sam dashed to the classroom, she stumbled into a another girl, we'll, this peculiar girl did not like to be bumped into. She whipped around and pushed Sam over.
As Sam fell over the girl stood laughing, 'do you know, who i am?' The girl asked, still on the floor Sam shook her head in a no fashion, 'no?' The girl mocked, she bent over 'I am the girl who can make your life hell' with that she gave Sam a kick to the stomach and slaughtered off.
The rest of the people in the hallway laughed and mocked her as Sam got up, all except one girl, all except one...
Sam felt completely humiliated and violated, how could this happen? She hadn't even meant to hurt the girl, yet the girl had hurt her, Sam could feel a bruise forming from where the girl had kicked her.
By lunch Sam wanted to cry, everyone had been locking at her and pointing at her and laughing at her, she had a terrible headache as we'll.
As Sam entered the lunch room, she noticed how everyone was silent. Not saying a word, it was kind of creepy, Sam made her way over to the lunch line when she felt someone trip her over, and she felt a warm and gooey liquid run down her.
Sam picked herself off the floor to be surrounded by laughter, the gooey substance had in fact been the spaghetti that was served for lunch that day, she spun around and was pushed to the ground again, every one was laughing even harder.
Sam felt tears prickle at the back of her eyes, but she did not want to cry, crying would be a sign of weakness. While everyone laughed at her, one girl came forward, 'would you stop laughing at this poor girl? What if it was you, scram, go back to eating'.
The mystery girl then turned around to face Sam, she held out a hand, 'hi, my name is Sam', Sam felt a simile tug at her lips, she knew she was going to like this girl.
I don't really know,
I guess this expresses my nerves on my first day of school.
