A Sudden Kiss

"Kise, I've told you umpteen times already, don't play basketball along the road!" Aomine lashed out his anger on Kise. It was the millionth time Kise was almost knocked down by a car because he was too engrossed in fiddling with his basketball along a road, and Aomine had to rescue him.

"I'm sorry, Aominecchi-san," Kise apologised, with his head hung low. "But can you please squat down and close your eyes too?"

"No. I've had enough of your silly games!"

"Please? Pretty please~?"

"Urgh. Fine," Aomine finally relented, and he bent down and closed his eyes.

Kise gently held Aomine's cheeks, and all of a sudden, he kissed him right on the lips! Aomine opened and widened his eyes in shock.

"Ryouta-kun--??" Kuroko, Kise's father, called out to him immdiately when he saw him kissing Aomine. "Oh, Aomine-kun, you're here too?"

Kise immediately retreated when he heard his father's voice. "A-Ah, uh..." He was too embarrassed to say anything, having done that in front of Kuroko.

Aomine stood up, feeling dazed. Kuroko had to apologise. "Sorry Aomine-kun, he's just a kid.."

"It's okay, just tell him to stop playing with the basketball along the road... He keeps turning a deaf ear to me!" Aomine complained to Kuroko.

"I will," Kuroko said, then turned around with Kise to proceed home. "Ryouta-kun, if you promise to stop playing along the road, I'll arrange lots of one-on-one sessions with Aomine-kun for you. He's really good at basketball."

Upon hearing this, Kise's eyes lit up with a spark of excitement. "Hai! Arigatou, Kurokocchi!"

"Like I said, call me 'otou-san', I'm your father."
