Chapter 12

Kaia wandered down a hallway. Not really sure where to even look for Harry and then she saw him. Sitting in a chair and staring out the window. Staring at the cold rain as it hit the windows. She went to his side and gently placed her hand in his shoulder. "Harry."

Harry turned his head then wiped away his tears.  "Kaia, What am I going to do?. I can't lose her!"

She moved to sit in front of him. "You don't have to hide your tears from me," she said. "You aren't going to lose her. She's too damn stubborn to die."

"She is my whole world." He said.  "This is all my fault, I selfishly wanted a child with her. I wanted a baby and now I'm going to lose the love of my life all because I got her pregnant." He sniffled.

She moved closer to him and took his hands. "Harry, stop," she pleaded with him. "It's not your fault anymore than it is mine," she said. "You aren't going to lose her. We're going to do anything and everything we can to help her. To find her a new heart. To help you and Faith!"

"I have a daughter. She is so beautiful and amazing and all I can think about is I tricked her mother into getting pregnant." He sighed.  "I should be happy and over the moon. I love my child more than anything in this world, but I can't help but think I doomed myself in the end.  Repeating my same mistakes. Trying not to lose Marian to Louis. God, will I ever learn?"

"Harry, look at me," she said. "Please."

"I am a moron Kaia. Just utterly useless," he said turning towards her.

"Harry Edward Styles stop it. Right now!" She scolded him. "You are not a moron and you sure as hell aren't useless! Look at how you helped her after William died. You have been always there for her. Standing by her side. Never giving up and I'll be damned if I'm going to let you give up now!"

"It hurts Kaia, this is so different than anything I have ever faced before. I was this close to telling her if she truly wanted to be with Louis, then I would not stand in her way, I was that close to saying but I couldn't do it. I love her too much to let her go but seeing how much more she loves him kills me. I'm at my wits end and I don't know what to do.  What do I do, Kaia?" He asked in frustration.

She was saddened by his words and she could see the pain he was in. "I think we all know she's going to love him forever, Harry. But he walked away. He left and you didn't. In all these years, despite her betrayal with Louis, your deception in getting her pregnant, you've never left her. Heart and soul and she knows that. She's always known that and in the deep recesses of her damaged heart, she loves you. She always has." She said adamantly. "And despite your reservations about her possibly dying or you think she's going to leave you, she's not. Whether it be to Louis or to dying!" Her eyes flooded with tears as she was becoming super emotional. "Don't you dare walk away from her!"

"Thank you, Kaia. You give me strength when all I want to do is curl up in a ball and never leave it." He said with a small smile.  "I know she loves me, it isn't in what she says but what she does and how she acts. I'll do my best to be everything she needs me to be." He blinked back his tears.  "I can't do this without you."

Kaia smiled at him and then wiped away his tears. "And I can't do it without you," she said. "I...I can't lose her either, Harry. Despite what she told me before. That she doesn't want me in her life anymore, I'll stay in the background, but I can't imagine her not in my life. I'd rather have her screaming and yelling at me and telling me what a fuck up I am instead of silence," she said as she couldn't stop her own tears.

Harry leaned over and hugged her tightly.  "I don't think there is anyone else in the world she loves yelling at more than you." He said.  "Do you want to go see Faith, maybe hold her without the horde they may let us in," he suggested.
