Brad's POV
"I'm sorry you had to go with them. I kept arguing with James and the others but I coudn't tell them the reason I dont want them to come with us." I told Lia while we were sat on the big letters of S-I-L-O-S-O by the beach. Since it was our last day here in Sentosa, the others invited the boys of Before You Exit. Yeah, they came back again here though they just came back to their hotel from here last night.
"It's okay, Brad. At one point, they're gonna have to know why and we have to tell them. I mean, I have to."
"Shush. I'm going to be with you, okay? WE will tell them." I said, emphasizing the 'we'. I smiled as I placed my hand on her lap.
"Tell us what?" we jumped off our seats as we look up to see Tristan behind us. Lia and I looked at each other, not knowing what to do.
"Nothing." we both let out.
"Aw, you're keeping secrets from me" Tris said, putting his hand on his heart, jokingly acting like he's hurt.
"Who is?" James showed up with Connor, behind Tristan.
Lia sighed.
"What omg are you pregnant?!" Tris joked.
"Oh god no!" Lia exclaimed. I looked at the girls who were playing beach volleyball with Riley and the others. I signaled Lia that no one else could hear.
And then, yes. Lia finally told them.
"Oh, so that's why.. we understand. We're sorry we insisted." James apologized.
"It's okay. I shouldn't be affected anyway. It's just the past." Lia replied.
I know she said it's the past. But if she's affected, and if she feels wrong, or uncomfortable, I don't want her to be. I want to protect her and be there for her.
We went back to be with the others. As we were walking, I held Lia's hand and squeezed it a little. She looked up to me and smiled. That smile could make me melt.
Riley's POV
"Hey guys." James said as they went up to us.
All I could notice was Lia, whose fingers were intertwined with Brad's. I didnt know what to feel. Sure, she was just a part of my past. But what do I do when the past is in front of me in present? She was so ever beautiful. She smiled at me. I knew it was fake. Then I remembered how I hurt her before. But I never got to explain myself. I distanced myself from her because I thought I was the reason she couldnt concentrate on her dream, dancing. While I was busy living my own. I wanted her to be successful without me getting in her way. But I guess what I did was wrong. Just leaving her without saying a word.
I look at her and Brad and how happy she is whenever she's with him. Maybe shes happy now. I'm not, to be honest. But I guess I should accept defeat, yes?
"So guys do you wanna have a lunch yet?" Tristan asked.
"Yeaaah my tummy's been growling" my brother Toby moaned.
"Youre always hungry!!" Thomas teased.
We looked for a casual restaurant around the area and had our lunch there. While we were eating our food, a phone rang.
"Hello?" Charla said as she picked up her phone.
"Yes were just having our lunch. We'll be home later today."
"Oh my god seriously??!!"
"Yes yes okay!! I'll tell Lia" she finished.
"Tell me what?" Lia asked
"It's my aunt. She said our manager called her. The crew's coming here in Singapore. They wanna start training for the competition!!" Charla replied excitedly.
"What competition? What crew?" Tristan asked.
"Our dance crew! We will be joining a competition in Australia. 5 months from now."
"Theres still a lot of time. Are you too excited to train?"
"Shut up its the biggest hiphop championship in the world!!" Lia explained
"Wow we didnt know you guys dance. Can we watch?" Hayley asked.
"Omg and we will be supporting you with our hearts!!" Olivia added.
"Yes yes we're so excited!" Charla and Lia exclaimed, hugging each other.
So cute.
Charla's POV
Knowing that Lia was only meant to stay here in a month, I think she might have to stay a bit longer. As for me, blah, half a year here. Actually, my aunt is planning to make me study in a university here. I dont know about the case with my parents though. I mean, I love them and cant leave them. But if it's for my future, then why not study here?
"So..when do you start practicing for your competition?" Connor asked as we stroll hand in hand by the beach, while the others were playing beach volley.
"Hmm. I dont really know. Maybe in a week or two? Why?" I replied
"What if you lose time being with me?" he held my other hand as he faced me, now holding both my hands.
"What?" I laughed.
"I really want to spend this vacation with you. But it seems like you're gonna be busy"
"You are so cute" I pinched both his cheeks, then put my hands back to his. "I will never lose time for you. Because every time I am with you is the happiest moments of my life" wow I made him blush. That adorable person.
"Really?" he said shyly. Bloody hell he was so cute.
"Really. Worry no more okay?" I kissed him on the cheek.
The day went by fast but we definitely had fun. I mean, im not sure about Lia seeing as she had to be with her ex-boyfriend but I guess Brad made her feel okay. Last thing we did was to have dinner together and finally get back home.
"Hey.." Connor held my hand as I was coming out of the van which was stopped in front of our apartment block.
"Hmm?" I murmured.
"See you tomorrow?" he asked.
"Clingy" I laughed then pinched his nose.
"Oww!" he acted like he was crying. Little baby. Who could resist this boy?
"Okay I'll see you tomorrow"
I smiled.
He smiled.
