The Fog

Introduction

Dreams never truly leave... but so do nightmares.

The year is 2018

The world is in complete disarray. The Creator has been watching our once beautiful world slowly die from the careless and irresponsible acts of mankind. He has created a thick and unbreakable fog that kills and consumes anything that dares come in to contact with it. The once great cities of humanity have been separated from one another and the government has crumbled down, leaving the population to fend for itself. Only a few strongholds remain protected from the fog through man-made barriers, one of which is New Serapon.

Gabriel Demeter is your average 16 year old boy living in the city of New Serapon. He is very quiet, but is very much kindhearted and brave. His girlfriend, Mersadie Olivers, is the charming and beautiful daughter of New Serapon's mayor, Feros Olivers. Though both live from city blocks completely far away from one another and their relationship is not supported by the parents of Mersadie, they have been able to maintain their relationship for two years now under the very keen and watchful eye of the Nightwatch, a group of trained knights bred to serve and protect Gabriel and Mersadie. The Nightwatch claim that Gabriel and Mersadie are the prophesized chosen ones who will banish the evil and unbreakable fog that has consumed the world that was sent by The Creator to punish us humans for corrupting and destroying the once beautiful Earth.

Now time is running out as resources slowly begin to dry out and rebellious factions rise against the local government to take over the city in hopes to survive from the dreaded fog.
