001 (Mike Wheeler Stranger Things FF) *ON HOLD*

The bell rang and that meant it was time to go back home. "Kaysie!" Mike called when I was packing up my stuff. He was on the other side of the room so it kind of sucked not being close to him. "Yeah?" 

"Can I have your number? So, um, I-"

"Yeah you can" I laughed. He smiled and looked down, running his hand through his hair. "Here, wheres your phone?" I asked. "Oh, right!" He said. He searched through his bag and handed me his phone. I punched in my number and gave it back to him with a smile. "Have a nice day Mike" I said. I grabbed my car keys and put my bag on. "Wait, you have your own car??" 

"Yeah" I chuckled. "Do you want a ride home?" 

"No, I rode my bike here i'm okay. But holy cow I didn't know you could drive already" He kid of had wide eyes. "Yeah, I used to drive around in Mass a lot, going off-roading was my favorite thing. Maybe you could let me know what are the best spots to drive around?" I said. "Yea-yeah! Totally! I'll be sure to text you!" He said. "Good! I have to go now, my sisters are probably waiting for me. I'll see you tomorrow Mike" I smiled. I walked out the door and down the stairs to the main entrance. Sure enough, Suzie and Mickey were waiting there.

"Took you long enough" Mickey joked. "Sorry. I was talking to Mike" I said. I unlocked the door and we all jumped in. "Ugh it's cold please turn on the heat" Suzie complained. I blasted the heat and defroster since my windows were getting foggy. I started the engine and we were off. 

I parked the car when we got home and went inside. "And why are you ladies home later than Bloom" Mom asked. "One of the kids asked me a question after school and I had to defrost my windows. So it took a while. Sorry" I said. "It's okay. Just remember that I don't want you guys showing your powers to anyone. So don't get too close" She said. "No worries mom, it was just a silly question" 

I went up to my room and put my bag down. Ding. Random number.

Hey Kaysie! It's Mike. Please open your door!

What? How did he find my house? I guess its a good thing I didn't take my shoes off yet. I grabbed my phone and went outside. "Hello?" I called. I saw Mike's head pop out from the side of my house. "Mike? How did you find my house?" I asked. "I'm right down the street. And a bright blue jeep is not hard to find. I need your help. Can you drive us to Will's house?" He said nervously. "Us?" Then I saw Dustin, Lucas, and Max pop out of the same corner Mike was in. "Sure, let me grab my keys." I said. I went inside and back up to my room. 

"And where do you think you are going young lady?" My mom asked. "Uh- I'm gonna drive my friend to their friends house. I think it may be an emergency" I said. "Bring Mickey or Suzie with you. Have them follow. You are not to be leaving this house all alone even after I told you to not get too close to people here" She told me. "Okay, fine" She left the room and I grabbed my purse.

To: Mike :)

Hey. My mom is being weird and said I have to have Mickey and Suzie follow. Is that okay? Or should I just leave with out telling them?

I waited a split second and got a:

To: Me

Uh yeah sure just please hurry up we need to leave now please

I said okay and I ran to Mickey's room. "Put your shoes on you need to follow me to Will's house. Mom said you and Suzie need to go" She said okay and put her shoes on. On to Suzie's room. "Put your shoes on, we need to go to Will's house. Mom said you and Mickey need to go" I said. I waited at the door for them and they met up with me. "Bye mom!" I said before opening the door. I locked it and went to my car. "Hurry up, get in" I said. Mickey and Suzie got in Mickey's purple wrangler and the kids got in mine. Mike sat in the front with me. "So where is Will's house?" I asked. "I'll let you know just drive towards the school" 

After a couple turns and then going on to a long forest drive way, we were finally there. "Thank you so much! Wait out here and we'll be right back" Mike said while they all rushed out. Then I saw some guy in a cop uniform rush out of the house, get in his car, and rushed out of the drive way. Then I saw it...

"Will?? Please wake up!  It's mommy! Please Will! Please! You're going to be okay! Come on please don't let those stupid creatures get you again!" A women cried. "Hey, buddy. It's Bob. You have to tell those creatures that you are the stronger one" A man said. "Will, please stay with us! Remember your favorite song? 'Should I stay or should I go?' You have to stay! Please Will! Please stay!" A boy yelled. "Will?" Mike said. "Please Will don't let the shadow monster take you now" He cried. Then there was a fog in my memory and the black fog broke the train of thought. 

I instantly called Mickey. "Hello?" She said. "Guys, there is no luck in that house. There's a shadow monster in Will. I saw it! And it's coming for everyone! It blocked my thought so I couldn't see anymore!" I exclaimed as I grabbed a tissue from my glove box. I wiped my nose from the blood forming from it. "Guys, it's seeing us talk about it right now. I can hear the screams of Will in the distance" I said. I started to get teary eyed. I've always had this problem. Part of my power is that I could hear the upside down. If there was someone in trouble, I could hear it. And right now, I heard Will call for help.

"Kaysie. Take a deep breath. Wipe your nose. Text Mike right now and ask him if he needs help" Suzie said. I sighed. "Okay, but what if he says no? Then I won't be able to cope" I said. "Hun, it's okay. if he doesn't want the help, then you need to accept it. You can't be the savior to the guy you met 4 hours ago" Mickey said. "You're right, i'll text him just--" There was a knock on my door.

"Yes?" I rolled down the window. "You shouldn't be here. Who brought you here?" The guy in the cop uniform asked. "Mike. He said he needed me to bring him here" I said. He rolled his eyes and ran inside. "That was weird... Well what I was saying, is that i'll text him I just need to prepare myself first. So i'll talk to you guys later" I hung up the phone and wiped my nose one last time. I put the tissue in my car trash bag and there was another knock at the window. This time, it was Mike. 

"Mike? Is everything okay?" I asked. "Yeah, it's fine. You need to go. Go home. Hopper said its not safe for you guys here. We'll be fine" He said. He kept looking around nervously. "Mike, tell me the truth. I know not everything is okay" He looked around and then the light on the porch went out. "Oh no" He muttered under his breath. "You guys need to come inside the house right now. It's not safe out here" He said. "What are you talking about?" I said. "Get out of the car! Come on it's not safe out here! Get your sisters!" He yelled. I got out and ran to Mickey's car. 

"Come on! Mike said we need to get inside" I said. They got out of the car and we followed Mike inside. There were A LOT of people in there. It wasn't that big of a house so it was pretty crowded. The women, man, and boy were there. Then the cop, then the other kids, and a girl and boy I don't know. Mike closed the door and locked it behind us. 

"Mike! I told you to tell these girl to go home!" The cop said. "Hopper, I know! But the things are coming! They couldn't leave now" Mike said. There was a lot of growling coming from outside. Max took my hand and told me to get Mickey and Suzie. I grabbed them and we went into another room. "Kaysie, I have to tell you guys something" She said. "What is it?" I asked. She sighed.

"Well, Mike isn't normal lately. He won't even let me be part of the friend group. For a while it has just been him, Lucas, Dustin, and Will. Then some really bad stuff happened last year and they let some girl El come in to the group. Then El went missing. They haven't found her yet and it's been over a year.  She was Mike's first love, kind of. He really liked her. Ever since she went missing, he won't let anyone into his friend group. Especially not girls. So i'm warning you. He will NOT want you in his friend group easily. Trust me, i'm still not even a member. The other guys love you guys! They said nothing but compliments all day today! But I think Mike only thinks of you as a transport for now. So don't push it. I don't think you'll be too important for him. I'm not trying to make it sound negative i'm just saying not to think too highly about us" She said

"Thank you Max. I could already tell. It's okay. No worries" I said. She gave me a hug. "I just don't want you to start hating us because of him." She smiled. "It's okay. I would never start hating you guys. I did stand up for you guys today, in case you don't remember" I laughed. Then we heard a scream. "Stay here! Please! There's just some stuff we shouldn't let you know yet!" She said before she ran out of the room back to everyone else.
