My blood flows, travelling through my veins at one hundred miles an hour.

It doesn't go alone.

It carries an anomaly, a poison. Death lurks around the corner as my blood continues to be pumped into my veins.

It carries my heart, my world, my literal life-blood. I already knew- voices filter through the darkness- I already knew- "She's waking up"- I already knew.

My emotions we're everywhere, my brain was frazzled. My body was broken.

I was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
