The Fallen EnderPearl (a zoethian fanfiction)

Chapter 2

Zoey's POV

"then what is it?" I shout at him but Duncan says nothing and runs into the castle.

"DUNCAN!!" I keep shouting but he keeps running so i go downstairs to see what's happening and to my surprise he was talking to my father.

"sir it is here" says duncan after bowing.

"what is here?" replied the king

"the great ender pearl" said Duncan and the kings eyes widened.

"get all the soldiers to the meeting room at once" shouts the king and the three guards around him went to go get the other soldiers and the king and Duncan started walking to the meeting room until I took Duncan by the arm.

"tell me what is happening, right now" I said with a little bit of anger in my voice

"come to the meeting room and we will explain everything" replied duncan and then I letted go of Duncan and I went to the meeting room.

when I got there every single guard in the castle was there.

"listen up!" shouted my father at the front of the meeting room.

"now according to prince Duncan the great ender pearl has fallen and we must get to it" said my father

"but why must we get it sir?"

questioned one of the guards.

"years ago an explorer found it and he said it was the most powerful one in the land" explained the king and everyone understood so they all went to their chambers to gather their things for the journey and by the time everyone left Zoey went up to her father.

"Father?" questioned Zoey

"yes my princess?" replied the king and he turned around to face his daughter.

"I want to find the enderpearl" said zoey simply

"but why? its a man's job" said the king

"I want to prove to you that I can do anything, so let me go" replied zoey with a little bit of anger in her voice

"no! end of story" shouted her father and he started walking away to the door.

"but father?" said Zoey before a tear fell from her eye.

"goodbye zoey, I'll see you and your mother when I have the enderpearl" said the king softly and he stormed out with the troops.

zoey started to cry more and she went to her knees and then her mother came over to her.

"come on honey, its time for bed"

zoey and her mother went up to her bedroom and she got her PJs on and hoped into bed.

"would you like me to sing you the song?" asked her mother in a caring tone

"yes please mother"

{ hush now, quiet now it's time to lay your sleepy head. hush now, quiet now it's time to go to bed }

Her mother was going to continue the song but zoey was fast asleep so she got up and went to the door

"goodnight princess" said her mother before closing the door.

about 5 minutes after she left, zoey jumped back out of bed.

"oh my god she believed it" thought zoey and she went to her wardrobe and took a bag from inside it and she stuffed anything she needed for her journey to find the enderpearl in it and when she had everything she jumped out the window...
