Fyxanekin (chapter one)

"In my world, everything is complex but yet simple. Doesn't it seem a perfect expression for the world." Nope! I mean sure some things are complex that doesn't describe everything. Sometimes I will say that to my self every morning but really it doesn't do much its just kind of a routine. Anyway...

I sit up in my bed and yawn while stretching in a cat-like way. I walk up to the mirror and stare at myself in horror. "Thank Irene people don't see me sleep" I pick my outfit being one of my favourite ones.

A hastune- Miku like dress except the shirt was pinkish burgundy colour and the tie was a dark pink. The skirt was black with a pink trim on the end, I had pinkish-burgundy knee-high boots and to top it off I slipped on my magi enhancers. I was awarded them since I have officially become a successful magi graduate. I also recently got it customised so I could have it in a colour of my choice. I chose a burgundy pink colour and the buttons on the side are white.

I was really satisfied as I slipped them on, It reminded me of the time I learnt about how they came around. Our world was going through a tough time, well that's at least what I learnt I never saw what the world was like outside my district, it was strictly forbidden. Well, at least when our district lived in a time where everything was simple.
Everything was like a fantasy village , magic played a big part in history as it was used for battle, healing and justice along with the fact its part of who we are, some were born with magic and some learn later on however it doesn't matter either way as long as we practice we can become one with our magic, something that we were born with but had to learn how to befriend it. The world was developing as we grew to practise our magic . We slowly grew into what the future had for us until we were being attacked.

From the south-east regions there was rebellion. These were people who were outcasted from the magic as they no good at their practise . Instead, they took it in forms of cryptic pendants, a type of crystal that can be used to store power. They would use it and seep power from magic holders and use for their own will cause everything creatures ever done with their magic cease to be. The rebellion was against people using their magic as they felt it was a reminder that they were outcast and not accepted, but it wasn't just outcasts, Creatures would throw away their loyalties and join the rebellion cause it to rise up in numbers as the grew increasingly dangerous. We were so badly affected that we had nothing left, no crops, no shelter they had magic to and even dried up our rivers. Districts were planted and we weren't allowed to cross the borders. We thought it was over but then weren't satisfied.

Over time my district became well known for being venerable and she wanted to do something about. It took her decades but she created many tech like items that will help us thrive. She made things like protection fields that you can create at the touch of a button. Teleportation vaccine (more the magic graduates) which can be injected into anyone so if in danger they can teleport to where the mind thinks of.

Our leader didn't want the technology to change everything she only made things that help provide what we need and preserve what once our home. Sure we have changed the way we build our houses and grow crops however the wildlife and nature that stood in our village still stands in the same place but in huge tech advanced city Known as Fyxanekin.

I kept looking at the enhancers, Think that it was time to join this changing world. I couldn't wait to start using it."Maybe I'll use it in battle Then I could test my skills, but then it's not the enhancers that create the magic I have to remember spells, attacks and thoughts to win a battle. But still, this is AMAZING!'

My tail, swishing twice, as usual, was intervened with as I heard loud banging on my door causing not only my tail but my whole body to jump up in a spaz.

"KAWAII~CHAN ARE YOU UP YET!" It was my older brother Keith. "Y-YES AND IM DRESSED BUT FOR IRENES SAKE DONT BANG ON THE DOOR LIKE THAT" I shouted still shaken from the spook earlier. He turned the knob but realised it was locked I was about to open it until I see a digital like a circular form with a lock on it, the lock then turned to an unlocked lock and Keith opened the door.

"I know you use that secret spell Mom taught you," He said smug "I know Keith but what are you doing, besides we are not due at the echo for another hour" I look at his burgundy hair and his ears. His ears were slightly burgundy too but you couldn't see it much and his tail was shaggier than mine (because he never grooms it) "I know" he replied all chipper" But I came up to tell you breakfast is ready" My face lightened up and before he could say anything else I hastily said thanks and ran down.

While running down the huge spiral staircase we had it reminded me of how big my family was I mean I'm one of twelve. Mom didn't care how many kids she had, she and dad were all happy and proud of us no-one was left out, and it wasn't just them, we would always give support and love each other. Sure siblings do have hiccups but my family means more than the world or the last cupcake on earth.

I sat down at the table while mom laid me a stack of pancakes for me and brother to eat. I divide them in half so my brother had his fair share and I could dig in. My mom sat down in front of me and as she hadn't a chance to do that since she got up 'I'll do the dishes ma" I wanted to since I didn't want her to work her tail off. She was dressed up in a pretty turtleneck and white jeans while wearing an apron I made for her when I was 9. "Thanks, kitty (my nickname from mom) "I'm so proud of you" she chuckled " you are going to be joining the elite team and you've been invited to visit THE ECHO.!" As she finished her sentence Keith came down and sat down in front of his awaited pancakes. Mom started doing kitten talk to him to show how proud she was of him (kitten talk is like baby talk but for Mei'fwas)

"AWW look at my little baby ball of fur." she cooed "MOM!" Keith said flustered while looking at me as if to say "Don't you dare" but I couldn't I had to laugh" Okay Keith I wouldn't do again (as if) " Mom said sarcastically. But you guys need to hurry if you want to get to the echo on time.

We finished our pancakes and headed to the door, as I was about to head out I felt a tug on my skirt. I sharply turned around to see no-one until I pan down to see my little sister. "Kayla-Tan what are you doing up?" As I bend down to her level. She was silent at first but she softly replied with " I just wanted to say goodbye" I gave her a hug while stroking her soft ears " AWW I love you too and goodbye" I hugged her a little longer until Keith called my name. I reluctantly let go of Kayla and said my goodbyes.
