Devan's POV
I wake up to hear my alarm. I walk into my older brothers room. " Collins, Collins, Collins." I say shaking him. Collins snores. " COLLINS! " I yell. " Hm?" He says opening one eye. " Oh, hi." Collins mumbled and went back to sleep. I pick up his stuffed animal, Poopy The Parrot. " DON'T TOUCH POOPY!" Collins screams snatching Poopy out of my hand. " Why did you do that?" He asks. " Its Thursday Collins." " Oh, video." He says going to his closet. " This shirt?" He says picking up a blue tie-dye shirt. " No, wear your red one." I tell him " Okay" He says getting out his shirt. " Necklace?" I ask. " Duh Devan, duh" He says.
" Yo guys we are doing the cupcake art challenge!" Collins says. " Cupcake?" I say. " Yeah." Collins replies. " Why do we have pancake batter if we are doing the cupcake art challenge?" I wonder. " Oh. I meant pancake!" He laughs. " First we are doing the 90 second flash challenge, GO" I pick up the yellow, grey, and white. I make a square with a ghost inside. I fill the square with yellow and the ghost with white. " Collins, what you buildin'?" I ask Collins. " Building, you mean Master building?" Collins says. " Or I mean making." I say. " I am making a drum set." Collins says adding a green cymbal.
"Okay, now FLIP!" Collins says as we flip our pancakes. Suddenly, the power goes off. " Collins." I say. " What Devan." He says like he did nothing. " I know you're pranking me Collins" I laugh. " I'm not." He huffs. " Then lets go look at the power box and see if you turned anything off." I say. We walk to the power box and open it. Collins turns on his flash light. Collins's room, on. My room, on. Living room, on, Master bedroom, on, Kitchen, on, all bathrooms, on. Everything was on, but the houses lights were off. "Lets go over to Brian's house, see if his power went out." I suggest to Collins. Oh, P.S, Brian is our friend. His whole name is Brian Alex Maysen.
We get to Brian's house. All of his lights are on. His American Pitbull Terrior, Boulder, is once again eating chicken. " Hey Devan, Collins." Brian says. " Brian, is it okay if we spend the night?" Collins asks. " Yeah, why" Brian replies. " Our parents are on a road trip and our power went out." I tell him. " Oh, definitely" Brian says, pulling out the pull out couch. " Don't let Boulder on the couch, he will pee." Brian warned us. " Alright." I say. Me and Collins got on the bed and went to sleep.
