Drip. Drip. I could hear the small water drops kiss the cold ground. The breathing of my friends and their slow and quiet footsteps.
“Why are we even in here?” I glanced at Bi and Joshua while walking.
“Well,” Bi flashed her flashlight to my eyes for a few seconds then to a simple pile of wet rocks. “Joshua made us do this.”
“Bianka, Alexander, I never did that. I would never make you guys do this kind of stuff.” Joshua said with a honeyed voice. I decided to say something before he ends up been buried alive by Bi.
“Anyways, I guess that doesn’t matter now. We’re together, isn’t that right?” I said.
“Yeah. Right. ‘Everything is gonna be fine’.” Bi turned around, she was mad at us, especially Joshua.

Joshua glanced at me, he said that it was kind of late to be here and he didn't had a watch, and his phone was dead .We decided to search for the entrance. But there was something interesting about here. There was an odd feeling about this place, that made you want to continue. I decided to convince my friends to stay here, and keep looking around. But the problem kept going.
“We're just going round in circles discussing the problem,” Bi said, “just look at Joshua, that poor child is trying to figure out what's happening, but he's going round in circles, like us!”
Joshua decided to lay down on the freezing floor. He turned off his flashlight and left it by his side. He rested his hands on his chest and closed his eyes. Before Bi and I could say something he opened his mouth.
“This is the end,” Joshua said with a flat and dead voice to make it more realistic, “I love you guys. Please tell Mr. Cloud that I love him.”
Bi started to chuckle for what he said.
“Joshua stop being stupid! We don’t have time for that.” I said.
“Dude, you are telling me to stop being myself.” He didn’t move, but he open one of his eyes to look at me.
“C’mon Alex, don’t kill the fun!” Bi flashed at me.
“Yeah, don’t kill the fun!” Joshua imitated Bi. He sat up to look better at me.
“The only thing I’m going to kill is you guys!” I was somewhat angry, “We. Are. Lost. Do you know what that means!?”
They stayed in silence, I knew that Bi was really thinking
about it, and what would happen if we don’t find our way out. In the other hand there was Joshua, I don’t think he was really thinking about the consequences of being lost, maybe some dumb jokes.
“No way,” Joshua said, “I forgot to feed Mr. Cloud! No we aren’t lost. We are gonna  find our way back.”
“And what are we going to do, clever boy?” Bi said sarcastically. Joshua didn’t answer, so I had to. Joshua got back to his feet, and grabbed his flashlight. He decided to wear his hoodie, without reason. Probably there was one and I just didn’t know.
“I’ve got a plan,” I said suddenly, “follow me.” I wasn’t sure of what I was going to do, or how. I just started walking without looking at them. Everyone was quiet and it was strange. There’s usually something to talk about, maybe it was from school or just a random topic, like Joshua’s disease.  Time just flew away from our hands.

“My legs are killing me…” I sat down wherever I could, I just wanted to sit down and rest my legs. Bi nodded. She sat down by my side, she closed her eyes and silence filled the place where we were. She suddenly and violently opened her eyes.
“Wait,” Bi looked around and then at me, she seemed worried about something, “where’s Joshua?”
I rapidly looked around, I couldn’t see him. Bi used her flashlight to be sure that he was not around.
“I… I thought that he was behind you!”
“He was! God, he’s lost and this is our fault. What are we going to do!?”
“First, we are gonna have to calm down,” I touched Pandora’s shoulder for more trust and confidence, “second, we’re going to look for him. Everything is going to be alright, okay PanPan?”
“Sure... I’m sorry, this was all my fault. I just lost your best friend.” Pandora gazed down to her lap.
Our best friend,” I said with a slight smile on my face, “now, let’s look for Joshua, I hope he is close to where we are.”
Pandora stood up and so I. We yelled and screamed for Joshua. But it was kind of impossible to find him, but we still had hope and perseverance on our hearts. We didn’t knew what was going to happen neither for Joshua nor for us. Lighting the way with our last flashlight. What if we get lost? Is Joshua okay? Is he cold? Hungry? Does he need his medicine? My mind couldn’t stop thinking of what bad things could happen or were happening. I was losing faith with every step that we gave. Pandora kept me from falling behind and I did the same thing for her.

Joshua! Joshua! Joshua! Pandora and I kept yelling, our voices got tired after that. PanPan had more hope than I. But her face didn’t show an emotion. We kept walking, and walking and walking. This is all my fault, this is my and only my fault. Nobody else’s one.  I kept saying to myself, that made me feel more dead than what I already was.. Pandora looked at me with her gray-blue eyes, she said nothing. We were hopeless, our phones were dead more than our own souls.
“Did you heard that, PanPan?” I suddenly said, my voice was tremulous, but clear. Pandora opened her ears and listened for something.
“Rain… Rain! It’s rain! We found our way out!” Pandora started laughing and in the blink of an eye she was outside. Raising her arms high to the sky.
But what about Joshua? I thought, wanted to yell his name but I knew this was the end. I decided to step out of that place, finally.
“I’m sorry Joshua... But this is the last time that we’ll see each other. Thank you.”

Epilogue
The body of a teenager was found after he went missing. He was identified as Joshua A. Schultz, he went missing on June 19th. His body was found close from a forest, but researchers say that’s not where he began. Joshua suffered from Mental Illness and schizophrenia. Which is the correct answer of why he went missing and why he was there. Doctors could not identify the cause of death. There was also found a small letter that he wrote with his own blood. It said that he's two best friends: Alexander B.J and Pandora M.A had left him alone. After some research Joshua's “best fiends” weren't real. It was only his mental illness and schizophrenia messing up with his mind.
