Valerie pulled Dezzy into the janitors closet, "I need to tell you something!"

"What?" She asked stubbornly.

The bell rang, "You know what, tell me at lunch. I have to get to class."
She left and ran to her next class.
Valerie struggled to get her to stay and got the words out, but only in a whisper, "But I need to tell you know. Life or death."

Lunch eventually came around. She took her into the empty hallway, "Do. Not. Run. Away. This time. I have to tell you this." Valerie snapped.

Dezzy looked shocked, "Okay. What?"

Valerie shivered, "Iamaspyandiwassenttogatherinformationonyou."

Dezzy laughed, "You have to say it slower so I can actually understand you."

"Sorry. I said, I am a...Spy."

Dezzy laughed, "Good one."
She turned around to walk away. Her feet were moving, but she wasn't going anywhere. She looked down. She was floating in mid air. She looked back at Valerie, then at the ground. Then at Valerie, then at the ground.

"WHAT THE..." Dezzy yelled.
"Shhhh!" Valerie put her finger to her mouth.

"Let me explain." Valerie said.

"Okay, now, explain, please." She said sacasticly.

"Do you know how my mom never let's you come over? Well, that's because we have a while bunch of spy gadgets lying around."

"Wow! I'm outta here." She ran away and whispered to herself, "Like my day isn't bad enough!"

The bell rang and she ran home crying. Her parents didn't ask because she told them not to. When she got into her room she plopped down, face first, onto her bed, and sobbing like she was giving her face a salty shower. Her phone constantly dinged, so she looked at it. It was Valerie calling. She clicked ignore. It rang again, but this time she just let it ring for ten more seconds.
She completely forgot about her homework and slept, only to wake up eat dinner and take a nice, warm shower that wasn't at all salty. Then, back to bed.
She woke up for a little bit when she heard her phone buzzing rapidly again. It was Valerie. She rolled her eyes and put it down. Out of the corner of her eye she saw that she had a voicemail in her notifications from a few hours ago. At the time Valerie first called. She decided to open it.
She clicked a few buttons until she got there, struggling, from not being able to see with the cloudy eyes of sleepiness. She listened, "Dezzy! I don't really understand why you are mad. I thought you would think it is cool, but anyway, I have something even bigger that I need to tell you. Please call me back." Dezzy looked at the time, and it was nine thirty.

She put her finger near the call back button. She hesitated. Finally, she clicked it.
It rang and rang and rang. She answered, "Hey. I'm so sorry that I over reacted." Dezzy said.

"I forgive you. Why did you over react? I mean, I know you she anger issues and all, but that was crazy." Valerie laughed.

"Oh, well, it is the fact that you kept it from me for so long, especially after we promised that we wouldn't keep secrets. No. Matter. What." Dezzy spoke sternly.

Valerie got nervous, "Sorry."

"What was it that you wanted to tell me about the whole spy thing?" She asked.

"Oh, yeah, it was-" Valeri continued to talk, but Dezzy was started by the light turning on. There stood her mother in the doorway.
Her mom have a glare, "It is nearly ten. You are not supposed to be on your phone missy."

Dezzy tried to interrupt; her mom did not let her, though.

"Give me your phone, you will get it back, tomorrow morning."

She handed it over. Attempting hard to fall back asleep, she couldn't stop thinking about what Valerie had to say.
