The bus stopped, ending with a hault. I jumped, and realized that we where here. "Ariana," I shook my identical twin sister. She groaned and turned over. "Fine stay on the bus then." I chuckled and climbed over her. I took her bag and my own, and walked off the bus. I stepped on the front porch of the house. This is where I'll be staying for a while.
"Brooklyn!"
Ariana approached me and I smiled at her, although she didn't look to happy. "You left me." she pouted. "You didn't answer me, what was I suppose to do?"
"At least try and wake me up." She crossed her arms across her chest. I shook my head, "Nah, where's your bag?" I asked. She looked all around, and even felt her pockets, "Brook! I left my bag on the-- you have it, don't you?"
I brought the bag from behind my back, and handed to her. "You know it, anyway, check out the house," We looked back at the house at the same time. I took the keys from out my bag, and opened the door. I reached in my bag and took out the rooming sheet. "According to this, we in are the room upstairs, first door on the right," Ariana nodded her head.
"Oh my gosh!" A squeaky voice yelled. "You guys must be the new girls," A tall girl with long black hair that reached to chin, dark brown eyes, and carmal skin with a purple purse, around her shoulder, and it dangled off her hips. "I'm Miranda, I'm so freaking glad someone came! I thought it was gonna be just me, then I heard someone outside arguing, and I was so sure it was going to be some more people."
I looked at Ariana with a crazed look on my face. She nodded her head, getting the memo. "We're going to go unpack. We'll see you around the house Miranda." Ariana said. The house was beyond big, and so was our room. We unpacked our clothes, and went down stairs. "How much money did you bring?" I asked my sister, as I opened the fridge door. "Roughly two hundred, why?"
"Because this fridge, is empty. There's nothing in here but a hot pocket and a half a gallon of milk." I leaned against the counter. "Guess they expect us to buy our own food then."
"Do they think we're made of money or something?" She rolled her eyes. I walked over to the couch, and sat down. "Where do you think--"
"Hello? Is anyone in here?" The door opened and a girl taller then me and Ariana, but shorter then Miranda walked inside the house. Her hair went to the middle of her back, and she was a little darker then carmal. She had dark brown eyes. "Hi." Ariana said. The girl waved and smiled. "I'm Nayla,"
"Ug, Oh my god Nayla. Why the fuck do you have so many clothes?" Another voice said. He walked through the door, holding multiple bags in his hand. "Oh, my god, twins!" He dropped all the bags and came to give us a hug. "It's nice to meet you?" I said, with a chuckle.
"I'm Jahi, Nayla's boyfriend." He introduced himself. "I'm Brooklyn, Brook for short."
"I'm Ariana, Ari for short." Jahi was the same hieght as Nayla. He had a darker complection then Nayla, and had dark brown eyes. I ran up the stairs and to room, "Miranda, there's some new people here." I ran back down stairs and jumped from the second to last step. Miranda trailing behind me. "I'm so hungry, there is seriously nothing to eat. Did you know we have to buy our own food? Bull shit." Ariana said, to Nayla as Miranda conversated with Jahi.
"What? I only bought one hundred!" She stomped her feet. I smiled as everyone got to know one another. Me on the other hand, I like to stay out of trouble and in the shadow's. So far, everyone is nice. Although I know there is more to come, there has to be. There is suppose to be six more people to make the set complete. I reached for the T.V remote and pressed the on button. I turned to lifetime, and watched Law and Order Criminal Intent.
Everyone in the room seem to vanish, it was just Miranda and Nayla in the kitchen, taking. We heard keys jingle coming from the outside. They looked over at me with a confused and worried look. I waved a hand at them, "New kids." I mouthed.
The door open and a girl the same height as Miranda, and long dark chocolate brown hair with blondish brown tips, and a darker then carmal skin complection. She had a pink and black purse with her. Next to her, a small boy, with glasses and a navy blue sweater. His skin completion was carmal, just like me and my sister.
"Jordan, where's my bag?" She asked the smaller boy. "Bitch, go get your own stuff. I'm not your maid." He responded, with venom clear in his voice. He rolled his eyes and sat on the couch. "I swear, nigga's these days," She mumbled as she walked out the door to get her bag.
"Hi," Nayla said, approaching, who I assume is Jordan. He looked up at her, and smiled. "Hello." He waved a hand at her. The tall girl walked back in the house and locked the door behind herself. "Make yourself useful, and go find our room and unpack." she said to him.
He waved a hand at her, and she glared at him. He caught the glare, "Okay, okay." He took both their bags, and went to unpack. "Sorry about my rude friend." she apologized.
"No worries." Miranda said.
"I'm Aireel, and for the record, Jordan is my irritating best friend." She rolled her eyes, and sat on the couch. She kicked her shoes off and basically got comfortable. "I'm Nayla, that's Miranda, and that's Brooklyn." Nayla said.
"I'll be right back." I said, remembering something that I had to do something in the kitchen. I walked to the kitchen and bent down over to look in the cabinet for bottle of water, the one thing they did supply us with.
"I left my keys." I heard what sounded like my sister say. "What the fuck?" Aireel's voice rang. I looked back up and saw Aireel looking between me and Ariana. "You have a twin?" she asked me. I put the water in the freezer for it to be cold. "Yea." I walked back over to the couch and sat down.
Ariana smiled, "We have more people? Well damn."
"You didn't see the little boy up stairs?" I asked, a little confused. "Oh him? I thought that was Nayla cousin, she was telling me about he was coming to visit." I chuckled, "Nope that's the new boy."
Ariana titled her head at me, "You know that this is bad teens club, right?"
"He's sixteen!" Aireel said. I laughed, at my sisters face. She shook her head, walking back up stairs. "I still cant believe we have twins in the house. I always wanted a twin." Miranda says. I shrug, "It's not as fun as you think. People are always getting us mixed up, especially at family reunions. God I hate those." I rolled my eyes.
"You got to have something so someone can tell you too apart. Like your hair, yours is long, her's is short." Nayla said. I sighed, "Not for long." I mumbled.
Night time came around, and still the other four people have not came. I put y hair in a ponytail, and grabbed a wipe to clean off the make-up. "Hey twin," Ariana says as she is walking in the room in her Pj's. "More like good night. Do you think those other kids are coming?" I climbed into my bed. She shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know. Maybe their running late or something, why do you care again?" She climbed her bed, and turned off the lamp.
"I don't." I whispered before drifting off to sleep.
