TONY

I couldn't save her. After everything she went through, she was snatched away. I feel sick everytime I think about what we saw.

MIKE

I loved that girl like a sister. I can't believe she's gone. The funeral is this Friday and us guys are the pallbearers. Jessica has promised to sing with Vic. Lowri's favourite song was Dear God by Avenged Sevenfold so they're going to sing that. Tony has barely spoken since that day. It's heartbreaking to see him like this. He's done nothing but lie there. He barely eats or sleeps. I don't know what to do.

LOWRI

I can still see you Tony. Stop it. You've so much to live for my love. I'm finally away from the demons that have haunted me this last year. I'm back with my parents. I wish I didn't have to leave you but the ocean didn't give me a choice. I wanted to stay with you. I loved you. I still do.

TONY

I dreamt she was here. She told me her parents were with her and that she didn't want to go. I miss her every second of every day. Mike has been my rock this last week. He misses her like crazy too. He told me the other day he loved her like a sister. I forgot in my own grief how close they were.

MIKE

The funeral cars have just arrived. Vic and I made Tony shower and get himself sorted, for Lowri. She wouldn't want him to be like this. It was bad when she left but this time we all know she's not coming back. I dreamt about her last night. She told me to look after Tony, the guys and Jess. It was so realistic I woke up almost screaming. I miss her so much.

TONY

It's time to say goodbye to my mermaid. We go out to the cars and when I see her coffin, I break down. Jaime has to practically carry me to the car. Vic, Mike and Jess join us. My mom and sister are meeting us at the church. She didn't know that many people so I'm expecting a small turn out.

MIKE

The church is packed. Some of Lowri's surfing buddies from Cornwall heard and flew out to pay their respects.

Jess and Vic get up to sing Dear God and Tony nearly loses it at that point. He gets up to read a speech he wrote last night.

"Lowri, you brought so much into my life. Lots of love and fun and for that I will never forget you. I miss you every second my beautiful little mermaid. I wish more than anything you were here with us now but that's not how it worked out. No more pain my darling. I love you."

The tears are flowing down his face and we all know he meant every word.

LOWRI

Stop crying Tony. I'll always be with you. It isn't goodbye. We will be together again one day. Hopefully not too soon though. You have so much more life left. I'm never really leaving you, just waiting.

MIKE

Tony chose for her to be buried in a plot as close to the ocean as she could be. As her coffin is lowered into the ground, we hear a sound. A pod of dolphins are splashing out there.

TONY

She sent them. It's a sign she's still here. A white feather floats to the ground beside me. I pick it up and hold it gently in my hand. She's here with us right now. I can feel her, sense her. I smile a sad smile. I love you Lowri.

LOWRI

That's better Tony. Smile for me you beautiful man. I love you too darling. Always.
