Sometimes love can't be explained with words, it can just be expressed by actions.
~Love Ammara
____________Rayan didn't know why he left Zain there, on his own. Maybe because he wanted peace and Zain was difficult to shut up. He would ask questions Rayan wanted to avoid. He drove home in silence although his inside was wrecked with storms.
He never told anyone how broken he is, how messed his brain is. All these years, he thought he had a perfect life; a wife who loves him, a son who is symbol of their love, a complete family. But all he had was betrayal. Rayan was known for being wise and responsible. Everyone thought he's strong enough to take every pain and he fulfilled their expectations. But inside this greif was eating him, bit by bit.
He needed a shoulder to cry on but he had decided not to let anyone reach his weak side ever again. A side he had blocked since Anna left. So, instead of facing anyone else he went straight to his room and locked the door. He looked around thinking Naina must be waiting for him but he was shocked to find her sleeping soundly on his bed. Different is houghts clouded his brain.
How can she sleep when she said she'll wait for him?
Is she also like Anna? She doesn't mean what she says?He went near his bed and stood inches away from her sleeping form. His eyes analyzed her, she was wearing her grey night gown. She was more or less same as everyday but her eyes were no more sheilded by the barrier of her glasses. He could see her long lashes, almost kissing her cheeks.
"She's so innocent, how can she be like Anna?" He gave words to his thought. But the bitter past masked the spark of attraction that threatened to ignite feelings. His Anna also seemed innocent, but she was something else so he decided not to expect anything from anyone in future.
He shook his head and stepped towards his closet. In hopes to take out his trousers and a casual t-shirt, he opened his closet.
His closet was different from how he left it, all the mess had been cleaned, all his suites were pressed and hanged, his casuals were neatly arranged on one side. He looked at his closet and back at Naina but shrugged the thought, maybe his mother had done it. He grabbed the first pair of trousers when a small note caught his eye, it was pinned to his trousers."Dear Mr. Husband,
Although, you clearly said that you want a mother for Arham not a wife for yourself but I couldn't contain myself seeing your ruined closet. Please thank me later for this great favor since you know this is something a wife would do and I'm clearly someone not needed. You know what I'm saying. Right?Your sincerely,
Naina"He toseed the note in air but couldn't help a crazy smile that twisted the corner of his lips upward, something that never happened in a long time.
"Stupid," he murmured and went to take shower. After shower, he was feeling better so he decided to finish some file work. While taking file from his study table, he found another note.
"Emm, I don't want to interfere in your personal life but if you feel hungry, grab a bite of food I placed on table for you. Trust me its tasty and your favorite.
Just an advice though,
Your's truly"He turned his head to find the tray of food on the table. But it wasn't there when he went for shower. That means only one thing.
"Naina? You can drop your act now!" He said loud enough for her to hear. She didn't respond though.
"Do you want me to help you get up? If not, do it yourself." He went near the bed and waited for a minute.
