"Don't Pray For The Dead"
"I don't love you, Jasper."
Those 4 words kept replaying in his mind, as he tied the noose to the twisted branch in the graveyard. He had loved Melodie so much, but she didn't share the same feelings.
Jasper thought over how much of his life had been a sorry excuse. Without Melodie in his life, he was just a lonely soul; a corrupted soul that had been overthrown to self-harm.
Making sure the noose was secure, he climbed the tree to where the noose had been tied and put it around his neck; ready to jump.
Her beautiful smile.
Bright eyes.
Pleasant personality.
So many things to like about Melodie, nothing to like about Jasper.
Tears sprung to his eyes as he thought of the way his parents and family members would mourn over his loss. This was for Melodie, wasn't it?
If it was for Melodie he would do anything, because he loved her with everything he had. Every single atom, blood cell, freckle.
He loved her completely.
But this was the end for him,
His soul filled with regret, and sorrow; he fell from the branch of the tree.

"Welcome to Heaven, I'm the gate Keeper." spoke the Keeper, "Here's the card to your room. Follow through these gates, turn left, find your room, and get acquainted with your roommates."
Doing as the Keeper told me to, I turned left and went through the extended hall; coming to a halt when I found the door with the number that matched my card.
When you think of heaven you're probably thinking everything is gold. Half of everything is gold, and the other half is silver.
My door was both silver and gold. The top was silver, the bottom was gold. As for the doorknob, I don't even know what color that was. It was like a mix of both colors combined, making a silvery-gold.
Grasping the doorknob in a firm hold, I opened it revealing a lanky guy standing in the pathway of the door. Supposedly waiting for me?
"Hello, I'm Quinn," announced the stranger, "I'm your new roommate."He held out a hand, which I shook in return.
"Jasper Smith, nice to meet you." I replied.
After his warm welcoming, he showed me which bed was mine (the left) and what belonged to me. Quinn also told me we had another roommate named Leeric, but that she didn't associate much and she was probably close by reading a book of some sorts.
The rest of the day went by very quickly, even though we had no time in heaven, I'd like to believe it did. We spent the day talking about our likes and dislikes then he introduced me to some of his corpse friends. Afterwards we headed back home and suprise suprise, there was no other roommate present.
