Before Fame

One day Kristen was taking a test "man this test is hard!" She thought as she put her pencil down and got up to turn in the test. When testing was finished her Spanish teacher Mr. Alfonso went up to the front of the senior class and said, "We seem to have a new student." Krysten looked up from examining her nails. "Maybe this is my chance to make a new friend!" She thought. "I choose the most responsible girl to show him around the school." The teacher said,"him?" Kristen thought to herself. "The girl I have chosen is Kristen." She immediately got up and walked to the desk. "Kristen go to the office and show the boy around the school, his name is Niall Horan." Kristen nodded and walked out of the door and into the office. When she arrived standing there was a small and skinny boy with green eyes and blond hair, as Kristen heard him speak to the lady at he front desk she gave a hunch he was Irish. "I'm here for Niall Horan." Kristen said remembering the name. "That would be me." The cute little Irish boy spoke as he eyed Kristen "I was told to guide you around the school and become your friend and help you during class ect." Kristen replied quickly looking away from his beautiful green eyes. After getting a pass from the lady at the front desk she guided Niall out of the office. "So tell me about yourself my name is Kristen." Kristen said trying to break the awkward silence. "My father moved from Ireland here to London with me because I wanted to audition for the X-Factor." Niall said in a confident voice "the X-Factor?" Kristen replied "When I was young I found out I had a love for singing and decided I wanted to try out to be a big singer but sadly I there are no places to audition in Ireland, my father and I decided to come to London after watching a episode of the X-Factor." "That's awesome I'm sure you will make it through." Kristen said as she showed Niall the cafeteria. "Lunch is in 15 minuets if you want you can sit with me and my friends. "Thanks for offering me your friendship." Niall said as he sat at a table with Kristen. "Tell me about yourself." He said now paying attention to every word she was saying. "My mother had me at a young age and my grandfather was a drunk he beat me an said that I was ruining his little girl's dreams that she couldn't go to school. He tried to kill my parents, I felt it was all my fault so I tried to commit suicide, it failed so instead I cut." Kristen said suddenly crying Niall pulled her in for a hug. "It's okay you don't have to tell me more. Why did you tell me this?" He asked looking down at Kristen. "I don't know something was just telling me I could trust you." She looked up at him and smiled. "Can I trust you with my secret?" She asked "Of course he replied." He felt some sort of connection between them and didn't know what came over him. He examined her face and said, "Your beautiful." Kristen quickly jumped up and looked away from him is shock. "No one has ever told me that before." She whispered thinking he couldn't hear her. "Well they are blind." He said stroking her cheek with the back of his hand. She had never felt like this before and she didn't know if she wanted to. "We have to get going to class." She said trying to keep away from him as much as possible. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything." Niall said looking down. "It's okay we usually sit at the third table in the back." Kristen said as she grabbed her things and went to her locker during passing period.
Niall made his way into the lunchroom to see a lot of girls staring at him in adoring eyes. "He is so hot!" He heard a group of girls giggle then look disappointed when he walked over to a table that had Kristen and her friends. There were four boys and four girls all gathered in a chat. When they saw the little Irish boy walking up to them they stopped and introduced themselves. "This is Fernanda." Kristen said pointing to a girl with black curly hair, "Hi!" She said with a smile in her face. "This is Alison." There was now a girl with blonde curly hair. "This is Emma." She said pointing to the girl with brown hair right next to Alison. "And last of the girls Izzy." A girl with straight blonde hair gave a lazy hi gesture. "This is Harry, Liam,Zayn,and Louis." She said pointing to each boy as she said there name. "What a nice way to introduce us." Louis smirked, "Shut your smart ass up." Fernanda said as she shoved Louis. They smiled at each other giddily. "What a couple." Niall thought as he sat down on a seat that had a paper that said reserved next to Kristen. "Nice." Niall said as he sat down next to her. "So this is your Irish boyfriend?" Alison giggled. "What?!" Kristen and Niall said in a surprised unison. "Well you speak of him as if you've know each other for years." Izzy said. "And the way you look at him is like the way Fernanda and Lou look at each other ." Emma pitched in. "Thanks a lot guys!" Kristen said shaking her head. "Zayn and I didn't say anything." Liam said as he took another bite of his freshly picked apple. "Exactly you didn't stand up for your friend." Kristen said angrily. "Women what do you want from us?!" Zayn laughed giving the other boys a high-five. "Yes I love my mum!!!" Harry exclaimed as he pulled out not one but two bananas from his lunch bag. All of the girls rolled their eyes and got up at the exact same time. "Where you going?" Niall asked as he grabbed Kristen's arm. "The library to get away from these idiots." She said before leaving with the other girls. "You hitting on my woman?" Zayn asked in a serious tone." Niall looked up at him surprised ."What n-no." Niall said. "Relax, Kristen and I decided its best to be in the friend zone for now." Zayn trailed on. "So Niall what brought you to England?" Liam said trying to start a conversation. "I'm auditioning for the X-Factor." Niall replied. "That's cool maybe all of us boys should audition we wanted to start a band back in middle school but we never got the chance." Zayn said. By the end of the day Niall was getting more and more exited his new friends invited him to go skateboarding after school and that was one of his favorite things. By the time he got to Zayn's private skatepark everybody was already there and it was Kristen's turn to do her tricks. She was magnificent her tricks were unbeatable. "And I thought I was good." Niall said as Kristen came over to him. Was there anything this girl couldn't do? "Glad you like it but that was nothing." Kristen said pointing to Fernanda as she got up on her favorite green skateboard and practically tore up the ramps. Liam was chatting with a girl Niall had never seen before and asked Kristen who that was. "It's my friend Daisy, she doesn't sit with us at lunch because she works in the office. And she's Liam's girlfriend from middle school." "Hey Kristen I wanted to-" but a sudden crash cut him off. "Zayn?" Izzy said slapping the motionless boy on the face. They all got in a circle around him. "Zaynie are you okay?" Harry asked as he put his head to Zayn's chest to make sure he had a heart beat. He did. "He's gonna be alright." Kristen said as she helped the others pick up Zayn. "You guys wanna spend the night at my and Fernanda's house?" Kristen said as they put Zayn into the car. They all said yes but Niall had to ring up his mum. "Yes mum tomorrow is not a school night, it's Saturday, okay bye." Niall rolled his eyes before putting his phone into his pocket. His mother had always been over protective of him and it frustrated him. They all got into the car like it was nothing but Niall was too exited. A night with a bunch of girls how could a boy not be exited? "This was Niall's chance to officially ask Kristen out on a date. "Alright guys wanna watch a movie?" Kristen said before being interrupted by a loud groan. "Where am I?" Zayn asked as he sat up on the couch they had placed him on. "My house." Kristen said as she handed Harry the remote. You know you had a long day why don't you go to the guest room and have a long relaxing nap?" Kristen said, she didn't like it when Zayn watched movies with them because he always asked what's happening. "Sure." Zayn said getting up and walking with Kristen into a room. Niall got angry and looked at the ground. "Niall what's wrong?" Emma asked as she checked on Niall that was now sitting on the front patio. "You need a hug?" Niall shook his head no. "What I need is for Zayn to stop hanging out with Kristen. "Niall do you have feelings for my friend?" Emma asked. "Maybe?" Niall said looking up at the stars then down at his shoes again. "You haven't even know each other for like even 3 hours!" Emma exclaimed. "It's called love at first sight." Niall mumbled, "that doesn't mean it works out!" Emma exclaimed. "You know the history about her and Zayn? It's an on off relationship and you don't even know about Luke." Emma exclaimed. Niall raised an eyebrow. "Luke?" Emma looked up at Niall. "Yes Luke her boyfriend!" Exclaimed once again. At that moment a car honked at the front. "Who's that?" Niall asked. "Luke." Emma said walking into the house to get Kristen. "Kristen Luke is her for you!" Emma said as she sat down with Alison, Alison put her arm around Emma protectively. "Niall want to come with us to the club?" Kristen asked trying to be nice to her new friend. "Sure." Niall said. He wanted to make sure Kristen and Luke were actually a couple. He followed Kristen out the door and looked away as Luke gave Kristen a kiss and opened the passenger door for her. He looked confused when he saw Niall. "This is my new friend." Kristen said as she motioned for Niall to get into the back of the camaro. "Sup?" Luke said as he was pulling out of Kristen's drive-way. "Apparently your ego." Niall thought. "No nothing." Niall said putting on a fake smile. All of a sudden Kristen's phone went off. It was Harry. "Hello?" Kristen asked. "Shut up Kristen!" Harry said " hand the phone to Niall!" Kristen made a confused face at Luke and handed the phone to Niall. "Are you serious?" Niall asked excitedly before chatting some more and hanging the phone up. He looked down to see that Luke and Kristen were holding hands. "Here's your phone back." Niall said sadly. "What's wrong Niall?" Kristen asked looking concerned. "I don't feel so good." Niall said before he vomited. "Aw shit my new car!" Luke exclaimed before pulling over. "Yes Fernanda this is Kristen can you come pick us up the car smells of vomit." Kristen smiled at Niall. "Don't worry Luke I'll help you clean it. "No you know who does need to clean it?! That little leprechaun!" Luke said angrily. "I said I was sorry already." Niall said before getting on the floor on his knees and softly sobbing. He wasn't used to people yelling at him. "Luke quit being suck a ass hole!" Kristen said before turning away from Luke and hopping into Fernanda and Louis' car. "What happened, why does Niall look so sad?" Louis asked after seeing that Niall's eyes were red. "I threw up in Luke's car and he yelled at me." Niall said. "Don't worry we are going back to my house." Kristen said before giving Niall a hug. "Ugh Kristen you're turning into a Emma!" Fernanda laughed before reaching into the back seat to pinch Kristen's cheeks. "Fer stop and put your seatbelt on or the cops will pull us over!" Louis said. "Only if you kiss me." Fernanda replied. Fernanda sat down and put her seatbelt on and gave Louis a long kiss. "Fernanda we got kids in the back." Louis said with a smile on his face. "You suck." Fernanda said before sitting back in her seat. "My god you guys are disgusting!" Kristen laughed. Niall looked at Kristen's smile and thought, "Why can't she be mine?" He watched Kristen the whole ride. When they got there it was already late and they immediately got into the rooms. Emma and Alison were in one room, Louis and Fernanda shared a room, Harry and Zayn had to share a room and Liam and Daisy shared a room. That left Kristen and Niall. "Yes!" Niall thought. Kristen's phone rang, it Luke. Kristen took one look at the phone and sent him to voice mail. A while after they had all gone to bed all the doors opened at the exact same time because a noise was keeping them up. They soon noticed that Louie and Fernanda were still in the room. "What the fuck are you doing?" Liam asked cussing for the first in forever. Everyone looked at him shocked. When they walked in the room they saw Fernanda and Louie were watching a rated R movie. They all immediately sat around their bed and ordered pizza. "What the fuck guys?" Fernanda exclaimed because she and Louie were just having a make out session before her friend came in. "Wow sorry to interrupt you guys and whatever you were just doing here before we came in but this movie has a good rating and we are going to fucking watch it!" Harry said. "Tomorrow." Louis said giving Fernanda a quick kiss and sitting up to watch the movie. Niall sat down next to Kristen and slowly placed his hand in top of hers. She responded by squeezing his hand, Niall smiled. The next morning Niall was the first to wake up and saw Kristen's head in his lap. He moved a curl from her head and secretly leaned down and kissed her forehead. She was asleep but still smiled. He turned and saw Emma was smiling at him. "Shit." Niall whispered surprised. "Niall she is in a relationship!" Emma said. "Aaa agh." Kristen yawned. Niall put a finger over his lips to tell Emma to shut up. "Kristen-" Emma started, "never mind." She giggled before waking everybody else up. To wake up Fernanda she slapped her. "Bitch I'm awake I've been awake enough Niall." Kristen got up "What do you mean?" Kristen asked. "Your dreaming." Harry said before convincing Kristen she was dreaming. After she had fallen asleep back on Niall's lap. "So what happened?" Emma and Fernanda exchanged a mischievous look. "Niall kissed Kristen while she was asleep." "Where?" Harry asked. "The lips." Fernanda replied giving Emma the same look. "What that's not true!" Niall exclaimed. "Niall you are a bad liar." Harry said feeling confident that he found out Niall was lying. Kristen woke up again and even within there efforts she wouldn't go back to sleep. "What?" She asked as she caught Niall staring at her again. Niall blushed and looked down blushing. "You are just so pretty." Niall said of course just in his head. It was Luke's birthday and she wanted to surprise him. She walked into his house quietly and heard something coming from the room. Curiosity came over her and before she knew it she was making her way down the hall and to the room. Luke was in bed with another woman. "Luke how could you have done this I trusted you! I thought you loved me, I thought we had something." Kristen said before stomping out the house and climbing into a car she had borrowed from Fernanda and Louis. When she got back to her house she stormed up to her room sat in a corner and sobbed. "Kristen what's wrong?" Fernanda said as she walked into her friends room. "Can I talk to Niall?" Kristen said feeling only comfortable around the Irish boy. "Okay." Fernanda said walking down the stairs to get the boy. "Niall Kristen needs you." Fernanda said. "What's wrong?" Niall asked walking into the room. As soon as he saw Kristen crying into her pillow he knew it was bad. He sat on the bed next to her. "He cheated in me." Kristen said then started sobbing again. Niall felt an anger against Luke as he wanted him to pay for hurting Kristen. "He doesn't know what he's losing." Niall said leaning into Kristen and placing a kiss on her lips. They heard someone running down the stairs but Kristen didn't care she just put her arms around Niall's neck and told him something he couldn't believe. "I love you." Was all she said. When they went down all of their friends were around Daisy's iPod giggling. "What's up Daisy?" Kristen said getting abad feeling about the footsteps they were hearing earlier. "There is a picture Daisy took of you and Niall." Zayn said sounding hurt. He got up and stormed off into the room he and Harry were sharing. "Zayn." Kristen called after him. "He'll get over it." Liam said. Kristen reached over and snatched Daisy's iPod. "Oh my god!" She said when she saw the picture of her and Niall kissing. "Why would you take this...and you were spying on us?" Niall asked. "I knew there was something between you because that sexual tension was bigger than my moms ass!" Fernanda said before getting kicked in the leg by Izzy. "I think you guys are a cute couple." Alison said trying to make Kristen and Niall calm down. "What happened with Luke?" Harry asked and everyone stopped talking to listen. "He was having sex with another girl when I walked into his house." Kristen said sadly. "Oh, I'm sorry." Liam said giving Kristen a hug. "Let's all be Emma's!" Fernanda exclaimed making everyone laugh and give Kristen a hug. "Too close." Niall choked as he was squished in between the bodies of all his friends. Kristen's phone rang, it was Luke. She answered it, "Hello?" Kristen asked. "I'm so sorry baby I've realized my mistake and I know I can't live without you." Luke said through the phone. "I already have a boyfriend." "Please please." Kristen looked at Fernanda and she nodded. "I'm sorry but the at&t subscriber you are trying to reach is trying to find away to give a fuck." And she hung up. "Burn!" Harry said as he pealed a banana. Kristen went up the stairs to knock on Zayn's door. "Who's it?" Zayn asked. Kristen heard pain in his voice. "It's me." She said. "Come in." He replied. She walked in to see all the furniture moved and his hair messed up. "Zayn why do you care so much if I date Niall?" Zayn cringed at those words. "You're already dating?" Zayn asked. "Well kind of." Kristen replied. "I've know you for years and I truly love you and you decide to go with that stranger!" Zayn said punching the wall. "Niall is no stranger, he's sweet and kind,and caring." Kristen sighed looking up. "I understand this is another Luke." "This is not another Luke, Niall actually gives a fuck." Kristen said walking out of the room and slamming the door behind her. "Is he okay?" Niall asked "Like Liam said he'll get over it." Niall leaned in for a kiss and Kristen pulled him over from the other side of the couch and planted a big kiss on his lips. "Ooohhh!" Harry said snapping some photos. "For the scrapbook." Harry said. "Izzy attack!" Fernanda said picking up the camera that Harry dropped, izzy jumped on him and Fernanda snapped photos. Louis came out of the kitchen with square pieces of mango and put one in his mouth and left half of it out Fernanda to take a piece. "Hope we are a couple like that." Niall thought. "Ewwwww." Liam squealed receiving a punch from Daisy. Fernanda gave Louis a kiss and smiled at him. "I have a feeling they are gonna get married." Izzy said getting off of the Harry with no air in him. "I can't breath!" Harry exclaimed letting in breaths of air. "We go to college in four months so what collage are we all attending?" Kristen asked "NYU in America." Fernanda suggested. "Cool do all of you wanna go there?" Kristen asked her friends. "Yea sure that'd be cool." Harry said, "Where you go I go." Louis told Fernanda. " "You guys are so cute!" Daisy said jumping around in her seat excitedly. Liam leaned in and gave Daisy a kiss, she was always saying why her and Liam couldn't be that close. "Ni remember when I called you up to Kristen's phone?" Harry asked. "Yes about the X-Factor coming in a couple of days. "Well....." Harry said passing Niall a letter. He opened it and his eyes widened. "Harry did you? Thank you!" Niall said looking down at the five names and audition numbers he held in his hand. "We are going to the X- Factor mate!" Liam said giving Louie a high five. "When did you agree to this?" Fernanda asked giving Louie a look of disapproval. "Well me and the boys decided we wanted to go together for support." Louie said slightly scooting over from Fernanda like he was going to get slapped. "Okay that's good that you have each others backs but next time let me know." Fernanda said getting up and grabbing her bag. "I'm going out to get some movies and celebratory pizza. "No you stay here Ni and I will go." Kristen said trying to have some alone time with Niall. "Okay." Fernanda said her and Kristen exchanged a look and she knew why Kristen wanted to go.
