WHEN HEARTS CONNECT...

They reached the hotel lobby and they took their respective room keys. As they were walking along the hotel corridor the usual tension started building up. The atmosphere became tense as they didn't know what to do next. Caitlin was nervous and she continued to walk in front of Barry to cover up her nervousness. Barry felt breathless walking alongside her so he followed her towards her suite. They reached in front of her room and they stood face to face. Neither of them knew what was going to happen next. They couldn't let go of each other and they didn't want to part ways for the night in the back of their minds.The air was filled with excitement,passion and strong feelings.They continued to gaze into each other's eyes.... Barry's mind was completely blurred and he had no idea what to do next.He could see that Caitlin showed a little  reluctance to turn the door knob  as she was opening it dead slow to making the moment last longer...He couldn't bear it anymore and he decided to test the waters. He moved a step closer to her so that her back was against his chest.

Barry's POV

We were standing  closer like never before.Her auburn hair smelt of jasmine. God I wish this moment lasted forever...She was  lithe and had the perfect height. I was tempted to reach out to her waist and hold her close and never let her go,but I had my limits...

Caitlin's POV

His hard chest was pressed against my back and my heart skipped a beat. I could feel the blush creeping onto my cheeks. I could feel his heart beating fast against my back and his hot breathe created tingling sensations on my neck.

After remaining frozen for a couple of seconds,Caitlin wanted to get rid of the building tension between them. She slowly turned towards him and they were face to face and just centimetres apart . Neither of them could break the intense eye contact. Pupils dilated,unsteady breathing and the deafening silence in the corridor seemed to stimulate their feelings. Barry closed his eyes and moved closer and closer until their lips touched. She could feel the warmth of his breath brushing the top of her lip. He closed the gap between their lips with one swift move. It was a new feeling  that had not been felt in ages. Caitlin held her arms around his neck with one hand caressing his soft brown hair and started kissing him back. Barry put his arms around her waist,pulling her slowly towards him. The kiss was soft, It was fiery yet passionate, It was filled with their desire for each other but it was also filled with love.  It felt as if the whole world cheered for them. As if fireworks and explosions went off behind them. They breathed their souls and their love into each other in that kiss. His mouth was so warm, the caress of his lips softer than she could have imagined. She caressed his cheek and tilted her head to deepen the kiss. Barry gently pushed her against the wall,their fingers now entwined. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks brought them back to reality. Much to their dislike,they broke apart for air.
