Unleash the beast!

Willow turned in shock. She ran to her bedroom door and slammed it shut. A cloud of dust blew off the top of the door. She slid down and rested against the door. Her heart thudded and footsteps began up the stairs. They were deep like thunder. She thought back to her mum, her dad, her sister and then she thought to her friends. Her friends that were at home with her families. Her friends that she had known since she was little. Her friends that were safe at home. Now she felt scared.

The footsteps grew louder still. What could it? Maybe it was one of her worst nightmares coming to life. Maybe it was one of those giant crabs that she dreamt about when she was little.. That kept her awake each night, that scared the living soul out of her. Willow had many fears but the worst by far was crabs. ' keep positive' she said to herself. 'it's okay. I'm fine. Think of a beach. Think of a beach'

Willow shuddered and a cold chill slipped down her spine. The thoughts of the beach were slipping through her mind. She tried to hold on to them yet it wasn't possible. They were slipping too fast. Slipping away. Disappearing in to a lost world.

The thoughts had gone and a thought of the terrible giant crabs came back. The creatures footsteps were moving towards her. She had to find a way out. She couldn't move through the door but there was definitely no way that she could jump out the window. The only chance was for a miracle to happen, for a super hero to come up through the floor or trough the window to save her. She laughed. If only she had never watched those films, she wouldn't have those crazy thoughts of someone coming for her: no Prince Charming. This was it. She saw her chance and took it.

Stretching across the floor she flexed her hands and grabbed her phone. The was dialling the police when the knock came. She pressed the green phone and then came the knock. Willow couldn't escape. The creature tried the handle and Willow leaned back just a little bit more and then the creature came thought the door...
