The Sweet Nightmare

The news!!!

I woke up and got ready for the day. Stephen closed the restaurant for a few months for redecoration. I on the other hand am going to my old high school to visit my 3 sisters and old math teacher for lunch. They have lunch at 11:30 and I have to be at the office at 12:30 but they have to be back to teaching at 12:15 so I'd probably leave at 12:10. I don't know timing is crazy as fuck now and days.

When I looked to my side I saw my handsome fiancée. I looked over to my nightstand and saw the clock read 10:53. I guess I should get ready. I went to the bathroom an took my shower, put my clothes and makeup on and curled my hair. When I walked out Stephen was up and it was 11:15 so I told him I would talk to him later and that I will call him before I head into my job which I love.

After a 10-12 minute drive I arrived at the school and got a visiting pass to Justices classroom where I will be greeted by Justice, Claudia, Jessica and Mrs. T. I got to the room and they were in conversation. So I decided to eavesdrop. I know I shouldn't but I have to.

"So how do you know he asked her?" Jess asked.

"Ask what?" I asked making them jump and turn their attention to me.

"Oh uh...nothing" Justice says.

"Oh ok. Are you sure it's nothing?" I say and sit down.

"Positive" Claudia says.

"Ok. So what's new guys?" Mrs. T asks as I take out my rice.

"Oh you know them pregnancy hormones." J says and we all laugh.

"Nothing really getting back in the dating world." Claudia says.

"Just living life wi-what is that on your left ring finger Kaitlyn?" Jess asks.

"It's a ring. That Stephen gave me last night." I say. Sometimes I hate being left handed cause you do everything with your most dominant hand and I can't write with my right which means I can't really eat with my right hand so it means they know.

"Wait so Stephen asked you to marry him yesterday?" J asks.

"No Justice it's a tattoo that looks like a ring. Yes Justice he asked her to marry him obviously if she has a ring that size on her finger." Mrs. T asks.

"Yeah he asked me to marry him."

"So are you going to run away like last time?" Claudia asked.

"I did not run away last time he deserved to be with his son and Vivika. I did what was best when Stephen spoke up." I say.

"So am I invited to this wedding?" Jen, Mrs. T, asks.

"Of course your invited Jen. Last time was just so sudden. I am taking my time to make it perfect. It's just going to be family and close friends" I say.

"So who all knows about it?" Jess questioned.

"Um...you guys and if Stephen told anyone" I responded.

"So Daniel, the girls and guys and your mom and my mom and dad?" Claudia asked

"Yeah those are the only people who don't know even though the guys are having a guys day. Stephen might of told them." I said. We carried on conversation for a few more minutes before I had to go to work. When I left I was immediately swarmed with questions as to why I am late by my fellow colleague Mrs. Ari Parker's who was carrying her twin Sammy on her hip. Literally they are exactly alike. You are probably wondering why Ari has a kid at work well you see she does the breast feeding thing to her 8 month old so she just brings her to work cause I allow her due to the fact that I own half of this firm. She was nagging on and on about something Sammy did this morning. I was daydreaming about god knows what but all I know is that Ari saw me playing with the new piece of jewelry on my left ring finger.

"KT are you even listening or are you off daydreaming about your soon to be husband?" she asks slightly annoyed. You do not want to get her mad she goes muy loco, pardon my Spanish, she goes very crazy if you don't hear what she has to say.

"No I wasn't I'm sorry. Can you repeat what you were saying and give me my little niece. You know you and Josh need to have a boy so the he can be a spitting image of Josh just like Sammy is to you." I say and steal my niece that I haven't seen in 2 days cause one day Ari had off and then yesterday I had off.

"Yes as I was saying you have a meeting in 20 minutes with the Johnson's to talk about Mr. Johnson accident case." She said. "Also can you and Josh watch her this weekend we are going to my parents house an we don't want to take her on the plane with us tomorrow night. We'll be gone from tomorrow, Friday, to Wednesday."

"Yeah that's totally fine I will take her home with me tonight and thank you for telling me I guess I should head down their soon." I said and gave the small child back. "Oh what am I going to give her. Cause I sure don't have that special crap that she likes in my breast."

"Umm...you can give her fruit and juice." She responded. I have her a quick nod that I understood and took off for the meeting conference.

After this meeting was over I was greeted by Ari.

"You got mail sitting on your desk and can you watch Sammy for a half hour while I go and eat?"

"Sure I can. I never get mail here unless its bills and all those are paid." I stated.

"Well I don't know then." She said and handed me Sammy and then exited the building.

"Let's get you some toys to play with while I look at this mail, okay?" I told Sammy and she just babbled away.

I sat her in the playpen that I have in my office and sat at my desk to read this mail.

Dear Kaitlyn,

I am sending you this letter to let you know that you are such a great woman to let me go and be with my family. We both made some strong descisions that day. We were in love but we both knew that it wouldn't work. I'm glad to state that me and Vivika are engaged and expecting baby number 2. I was writing this to invite you and Stephan to our wedding in 3 months. I hope you can make it.

I might go I'll have to ask Stephan. He shouldn't be to pissed since I did leave Liam for him. I might still go though.
