"Eleven?" Mike asked. He let go of me and ran to her. They embraced each other into a tight hug. "I missed you so much El!" He said. "Mike, I missed you so much too" She cried. I turned around and started to walk into the forest. This boy is messing up my emotions and i'm not trying to get hurt again. They're blocking my car so I guess that I might as well go walk for a little. My phone dinged.

I unlocked my phone to see it was Loren from school. "Hey whore! I know you're sad, you must be really needy right now. If you want, I could call my brother for you. He's 10 but I know you like them young <3" I can't believe her. I slammed my fist against a tree. I'm sick of this town already and it's only my third day here. Ding

Kaysie, come home now please. I need to talk to you. Chief Hopper is here and he needs to talk to you

I just replied with a 'fine.' "Kaysie?" A voice said behind me. I turned around and it was Mickey. "Come on, let's go home" She said. She took my hand but brought it closer to her face. "Blood? What did you do?" She asked. "I punched a tree. It's fine. I'm fine. Mom said I need to get home" I pulled my arm away and started to walk away. "Go home, i'll bring the guys back to their homes" She said. "They're not all going to fit in your car. It's fin, i'll bring some of them home" I rolled my eyes and grabbed my keys from my pocket.

"Kaysie" Mickey grabbed my shoulder. "You don't have to do that. I know you're really upset with Mike right now, but you need to get home. I saw that mom said the chief is waiting for you. I have a trunk, they can sit in there. Just go home, please. It could be about Bloom and Roy." Mickey lightly spoke. It was almost a whisper. "Hey, are you okay?" A lisped voice said behind me. It was Dustin. "I'm fine. I have to get home, come on i'll bring you guys home" I said. "Kaysie, you're bleeding. Is it because of Mike?" He asked. 

"No, no. I'm fine. Just some other stuff" I rolled my eyes and placed my hand on my forehead. Then I fell onto my knees. 

"So, this is Bloom" The smirking man asked. "Yes, sir" A woman said. "Now, Roy? Is that kid?" He asked. "Yes, sir" She repeated. "Great. Now, where is that Dawn? And the Kaysie child?" 

"Dawn was not found" A man from yesterday said. "And the Kaysie is a tricky one. There is no clear way to get her. She can tell the future remember? She knows where we are" The woman worried. "We will find her. And her stupid little sister. They are the more powerful ones, we need them" The smirking man was very upset. He was bad news and I know I have to be careful.

"Get away from her! Stop getting so close!" I heard Suzie yell. "We have to get Dawn" I whispered. I got up and ran for my car. I got inside and wiped my nose. I took a deep breath and started my car. My back seat and passenger doors opened. "Are you okay?" Mike asked. "I'm fine. I need to get home. Give me your address so I can drop you off" I huffed and rolled my eyes.

"Are you Kaysie?" I heard from the back seat. I looked in the rear mirror and saw Jane. "Yeah" I sighed. "Sister?" She asked. I sighed again and rested my forehead on my steering wheel. "Yeah" I replied again. "Wait, so you guys actually are sisters?" Mike asked with wide eyes. "Yes, we are. We have the same mom. Now the chief is at my house so give me your damn address so I can take you home" With every word my voice got more stern. "Can I go home with you?" Mike asked. "No. Now what's your address? This is my last time asking before I just have Mickey drive you home" 

He sighed, "I'm honestly in your backyard. The other side of the fence is my yard and house" He said. "Alright. Now where are you going?" I asked, looking back at Jane. She shrugged. "I can't stay with Mike. My house no safe" She said. I can tell she doesn't have too much knowledge about speaking yet. She must have been taken to the lab right away. At least I had a few years out. "If you want, you could stay in my attic. Just don't draw attention to yourself" I put the car into drive and started on my way. I saw Mickey following me with everyone else in her car. 

"Here, Mike, we're at your house" I said. "Oh, uh, thanks. El, want to come over for a bit?" He asked nervously. I rolled my eyes. "I can't. Bad people might see" She said. He nodded. He said bye and left the car. "Alright, now you have to hide okay. I'm going to make you flash into my attic. You are to not make a noise up there, you got that? Not until I go up there when the chief is gone. Then you can move around. You got that?" I asked. She nodded. "Thank you, sister" She said. "Yeah, don't mention it." I sighed. I grabbed her hand and thought of the attic. Then, she was gone. 

I wiped my nose and drove around the block to my house. Sure enough, the chief was there. "Hello, are you Kaysie?" A cop at the door asked. "Yeah, why?" 

"Right this way" He guided me to the living room. Seriously? Like I have to get invited and guided to my own house? "Thanks Powell. You can leave now. Kaysie, have a seat" Powell left and I sat down near my mom. My mom was in tears. I instantly started rubbing her back. "What's going on?" I asked. "I know about your gift" Hopper said. "What gift? I mean, my presence here is kind of a gift" I joked.

 "No. I know that you're from the lab too. I met this girl from the lab, I have her under my wing now. I need your help. You and your sisters' help. The kid at the house yesterday, his name is Will, and he's been going through a lot. We need you to help take him out of it. But my girl can't do it by herself, and people can't know that she is alive. I need your help. Will needs your help. Please. Help us. His mother is going through so much right now. And we will all then help find your siblings." He was very serious. 

"I mean-" I started to say when I got interrupted. "Mommy! There's a girl in our attic!" Dawn called from upstairs. Fuck. I ran upstairs and locked the door behind me. "Jane, I told you not to move!" I whisper yelled. "I smelt Eggo" She said. Dawn gave her one of her waffles. Oh my god... "Eleven!" Hopper yelled when he barged in the room. "What are you doing here??!? You could have gotten killed!" He yelled. "She is sister. She is safe" Jane said.

"Oh my god. This is Jane! That is my daughter! That's my little girl!" Mom cried. Jane ran up to her and hugged her tight. "Mamma" Jane cried. "El, you were not suppose to be here! You could've got yourself killed!" Hopper yelled. "She's safe Hopper. She's with us now. She'll be fine. I'll protect her with my life" I said. He looked me up and down with a sad smile.

"Do you promise?" He asked. I looked at Jane and smiled. Even though she really came in at the wrong time earlier, and kind of just threw my under cover, I guess it'd be wrong to not let her stay. 

"I promise"
