Quiet, the quiet was all Nikki could hear. She sat up and sighed, Max really had done it. Neil had dared him to leave Nikki at Spooky island for a while. She got up from the bush she was put behind and went to the shore. She sat down not caring about the dirt or leaves in her hair. She listened to the quiet crashing of the waves on the sand. She let her mind drift with the wind as she watched the waves, the quiet foam bubbling as it sunk back into the water only to rise up again. Her soft blue hair was entangled with leaves yet she made no move to signal it bothered her. Yet after a long while, her mind drifted too far and Nikki fell asleep, Falling to her side as her world went dark.
She woke up to a boy with olive hair and blue eyes standing above her. He flinched when he saw her awake, He backed up a bit when Nikki shot up, nearly hitting him in the face. He stumbled backward and fell to the ground as Nikki tilted her head, ' Your that kid we met the last time I was here...' She said before coughing a bit, He shot up and went over to her, ' Y-You fell asleep near the water.' He disregarded her first statement and he gave her a worried look. She stared at him before giving this boy a small and short hug. He froze for a second, surprised she could even hug him, so he hesitantly returned it.
Nikki could feel how he was shakey and hesitant to even touch her, She felt his grip tighten a bit after a while and Nikki shivered, ' I-Is this that old summer home from the last time?...' She looked up at him and he sighed, ' Sadly...' his olive hair looked the same like when she was here last time. She could see his blue eyes filled with sadness and she gave him a soft smile, ' You think we could freak out the old people here?...' She asked and smiled, The boy rose a brow but nodded, ' Sure! Oh Um, My name's Jasper by the way.' He smiled. Nikki gave him a smile, ' I'm Nikki!' She giggled and ran upstairs. Jasper smiled a bit and used a shortcut to appear at the top of the steps. ' How about you take the left hallway, and I'll take the right.' He smiled and nodded.
Nikki banged on the walls, Jasper had gone down the right hall, yet he was invisible now. He watched Nikki, He liked the fact she was adventurous and didn't wonder why he wasn't in the camp. He noticed one older guy was going up behind her with a knife, He growled and shifted her shadow into a large wolf looking thing scaring the man away. Jasper reformed and ran over to her and grabbed her shoulders turning her to him. She squeaked as he checked her for any cuts as the knife had hit her when the man ran away. He sighed and hugged her, Yet Nikki was so confused but hugged him back.
