Adam pulled away and tommy sucked his bottom lip in, chewing on it. "I'm going to go on a walk. I need to clear my head and get more blood. I'll be back in an hour or so, okay?" Adam asked and Tommy nodded, looking down. "Hey. I love you," Adam said, kissing the top of Tommy's head before walking out the door.
Tommy got up and walked into the kitchen. He opened the knife drawer and pulled one out.
Gulping, he went into the bathroom and turned the water on. He stepped into the tub and placed the knife on his arm, dragging it down.
After several more times he stepped out of the red water and grabbed a dark towel, pressing it to his arm and wincing. When he washed off all the blood he went into his closet, taking a hoodie out and putting it on with a few bracelets.
Adam walked into th house and grabbed the door, breathing in deeply. Tommy looked over at him. "Adam? What's wrong?" He asked. "Did you cut yourself?" Adam growled, slamming the door shut. "No," Tommy said, flinching as Adam pushed him into the couch, pinning him down. "Bullshit! I smell blood on you!" Adam snarled.
"I-I'm sorry," Tommy whimpered and Adam let go of him. "Go throw away anything you got blood on and I'm gonna spray air freshened everywhere because if I smell that for a few more minutes, I could kill you," Adam said and Tommy nodded.
Tommy pulled the jacket off and threw the towel away while Adam sprayed the air with air freshener.
When they were done Adam hugged Tommy, kissing him soflty. "Why did you do that?" He asked, pointing to the cuts. "I don't know," Tommy whispered, tears falling onto his arm. One landed in his cut and he groaned, biting his lip. "You know why. Was it because I left?" Adam asked. "No. I felt really bad after I said what happened," Tommy said.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Adam asked, sitting down and pulling Tommy onto his lap. "Because I didn't know until too late," Tommy replied, looking down. Adam bent down and placed a kiss on every one of the cuts. "Adam, what are you doing?" Tommy asked.
"Just talk to me next time. For your sake and my sake. Because I don't want to hurt you," Adam whispered. "I'm sorry," Tommy whispered.
"Do they hurt?" Adam asked and Tommy nodded. "What did you use?" Adam asked. "Kitchen knife," Tommy said, barely audible. "I'm gonna throw them all away, okay?" Adam asked and Tommy nodded. Adam got up and walked into the kitchen and Tommy hugged himself, whimpering.
Adam came back a few minutes later and wrapped his arms around Tommy. Tommy rested his head on Adams chest and cried while Adam rubbed his back. "It's okay baby, it's okay," Adam whispered. "Why can't I be like you?!" Tommy asked, sniffling.
"Baby, you don't wanna be like me," Adam said. "Y-yes I do!" Tommy objected. "Maybe some other time, okay? Just not now," Adam said and Tommy nodded. "Why not now?" Tommy asked. "Because. . . I don't think either of us are ready for that. It's really painful," Adam said.
"How?" Tommy asked. "They suck out your soul. I put my teeth on you neck right here," Adam said an dput his fingers on a spot on Tommy's neck. "And I suck until i get out all your blood and your soul. That part surpisingly isn't as painful as you'd think. It hurts a lot at the first minute or two but after that it's just numb. But for a whole day it hurts like hell. I think. Probably worse, actually. Still want to do it?" Adam asked.
"Yes," Tommy said and Adam nodded. In a few days. I swear, it hurts so much," he said. "That won't change my mind, Adam," Tommy said. "I know. Just trying to prepare you for whats going to happen," Adam said.
"Are you afraid of needles?" He asked. "Yeah. Why?" Tommy asked. "That's going to make it so much worse. When you change someone or even drink for an animal or person your fangs grow out and basically turn into a reverse needle. Like this," Adam said and extended his fangs, sinking them into the bag of blood and sucking it out.
Tommy cringed, covering his eyes. "It's still worth it," Tommy said. "Alright," Adam said slowly. "I'll do it in a week. Okay?" He asked. "Okay," Tommy said and snuggled up to Adam. "Why in a week?" "Because we need to make sure you're fine with it." "I am fine with it," Tommy groaned.
"But we need to make sure," Adam said and Tommy nodded, sighing. "I just- I don't want you in pain," Adam grumbled. "But them I'd get to stay with you forever," Tommy said. "Which is why we're doing it, just not now," Adam said. "But I want to do it now!" "I don't!" Adam yelled. "W-why not?" Tommy asked. "I don't want to hurt you," he whispered. "What are you going to do while in pain for the rest of the day?" Tommy asked.
"I don't know!" Adam yelled. "I'm gonna go take a shower," he sighed and walked into the bathroom. Tommy laid down on the couch and sighed, covering his face and closing his eyes.
